Mayweather is like a video game boss, you have to deplete his health before the timer runs out. No decisions, no even rounds, no draws. If he's still standing at the end he automatically wins.

But based on real boxing rules the fight was close and Manny outboxed Floyd for long stretches in the fight.
I don't recall Floyd getting dropped twice or stopped in the 12th round.

One of dumbest posts ever imo.

Basically the TS wants judges to give Manny rounds he didn't win on the basis of his calling them "close" or "swing" when they really weren't. He is pretending the rounds were "tied" and the judges just gave them to Floyd.

The reality is Manny only won 2 rounds clearly, 4 and 6. I thought he won 9 as well. SOme have him winning another round. He lost by a wide margin. There was never a point where anyone thought he was winning or even close.

6 wasn't so clear imo. Floyd put in some good work.

I gave #48 the benefit of the doubt anyway.

That's the thing- Manny actually gets the real swing rounds, 6 and 9, on almost everyone's cards. The rest of the rounds he really just didn't do much of anything.

I get they want a rematch hoping that Manny can get lucky and land a miracle, but why his fans are begging for rounds he didn't earn just to make the fight closer is strange.

It's a combination of trolling, bias, bitterness, not knowing what they are watching or all of the above.

Cotto made Mayweather work for his victory. I had Mayweather winning comfortably on points, but in the mid rounds Cotto gave him something to think about. It just goes to show that you need to have Mayweather thinking for the duration of the fight as once he finds a rhythm, he can pretty much sweep up blocks of rounds: he beat Cotto because he controlled the first and third third of the fight, whilst being competitive in the second.

Floyd missed so many shots the most in his career when he fought a supposedly defenseless pacquiao who was past his best and slower.

Floyd hit cotto cleanly hard and solid, he had cotto bleeding, hurt.

Cotto best **** is to land left hooks to the body and head. But floyd will just land the right hand and move and hold.
