Floyd himself says Cotto damn near made him want to retire. #48 didn't make Floyd do anything other than use too much lip balm lol.

Cotto gave Floyd a much harder fight despite both being wide loss's.

What did Floyd do?! It's always about what the other opponent didn't do... but the onus is never on Floyd to do anything, he wins by default it seems.

        "looking good" is just that.

Maidana probably did better due to Mayweather cut eye in the first fight.

        Top 5 who troubled Floyd for me are;

        1. Castillo (i thought he lost)
        2. Emmanuel Augustus
        3. Jesus Chavez
        4. Maidana (due to cut eye)
        5. Cotto

Most rounds were swing rounds but it seems to win a round against Floyd you need to utterly dominate.

        It's a bloody disgrace!

And what did Floyd do to #48?

Why is the onus always on Floyd's opponent to do something?

Floyd has officially renamed Manny Pacquiao to #48 - that's what he did

Miguel Cotto because he fought like he belonged at the top level still keeps his name in the public's eye

Cotto's defence isn't good enough, he's too stationary, has no upper body/head movement and is too slow for Floyd, he cuts the ring off well though I'd give him that.

There's a very strong anti Pacquiao sentiment on here, because he didn't fight a certain way he doesn't get credit. Truth is Pacquiao put on a defensive masterclass in there and for the most part took away Floyd's right hand, something very hard to do!

Cotto does no better in the rematch. People are swayed with Floyd, the opponent has to do something "fight his fight" throw dozens of punches. You'll never get credit for making Floyd miss and countering him, because he's assumed to win every fight he doesn't get pressured non stop in.

                These are the facts!
dude Floyd has beaten #48 more than 5 weeks ago I think you need to move on for god sake.

Cotto won 4 rounds, Pacquiao won 4 rounds...Maidana won damn near 6, could be called a draw. Maidana isn't a great fighter, he just fought like a man possessed. Cotto showed some aggression but couldn't keep it up. Pacquiao was in there for the pay day, 3 years into his slide and injured shoulder. May be an argument for a rematch but neither guy did enough to be called Mayweathers toughest opponents.

Are we going to forget Oscar and Castillo too?
