scoring for mayweather

Lol you guys talked your way around it but mayweather doesn't do ****. Ali was knocking guys out and fighting the best at their best when he was past it. For **** sakes tge guy took on prime holmes when he had parkinsons.
Comparing ali and mayweather is hilarious. Literally 0 comparison. I'm not knocking clinching or running as I said earlier. Im knocking winning rounds where he has done next to nothing, fighting a safety first fight and winning rounds sometimes just for looking slick.
In case you all forget too, ali had a lot of haters as well, but he silenced them by knocking out guys like george foreman when he wasn't even in his prime.Comment

Pacquiao let Mayweather set the pace and control the fight, fighting the way he fully wanted from basically the third round on.The problem with mayweather is he has found a way to beat the system, but not beat the boxer in front of him.
There are a couple of reasons for this:
In Vegas they don't score draw rounds. If mayweather lands 3 more jabs, they give it to him. If nothing happens, he gets in by default.
Running shouldn't be discriminated against since the sport is about hitting and not being hit. The real problem is when floyd buys time and kills 2 minutes of a round by staying away, then wins the round with about 30 seconds of activity.
These are 2 factors why people say he dominates (on the cards) but in reality he hasn't wooped anyone.
In theory I can see why pacquiao felt robbed, floyd was winning rounds by running, clinching and landing sometimes a single grazing right hand near the end to pick up a round that should have been a draw.
I also question how anyone could have given floyd the first maidana fight? He certainly lost the first 6 rounds and maybe won 2 rounds near the end.
You add that Floyd threw more punches, landed far more shots, and Pacquiao was literally the least active that anyone has ever seen him be, and he's only got himself to blame. Floyd dictated the fight; why keep trying to discredit him?
Lastly, in terms of the first Maidana fight, I personally had it 4-2 Maidana after the first six rounds, before Maidana started to tire, Floyd made his adjustment, took over, and swept the back 6.Comment

He's black , if he had been Mexican or white he would have 5 losses. Remember Oscar vs Tito? Oscar won the first 9 rounds runs the last 3 he loses the fight and people say he deserved to lose for running well if those people feel the same Floyd should have 20 losses cause the guy runs in every fight and should be deserved to be the loser for inactivity or people should be allowed to sue him for unsatisfactory service he's like watching a dud movie that cost you $30Last edited by Luilun; 05-27-2015, 02:00 PM.Comment

Please tell us Capt. Expert the 4 criteria's for scoring a boxing match? The problem with mayweather is he has found a way to beat the system, but not beat the boxer in front of him.

Here let me help you moron:
Clean punching: Clean punches are punches that land on the face/side of the head and the front/side of the torso.(Manny didn't land a whole bunch of clean punches, no matter how you and the tards attempt to spin it)
Effective aggressiveness: A boxer demonstrates this trait when he consistently and successfully moves forward in a controlled manner.(Manny may have moved forward more than Mayweather, but he was not effective or consistent. While he attempted to do this, he was eating rights 90% of the time. Also his punch output was low and several times, it was Manny that was running away from Floyd...no one expected this, not even the tard fanbase)
Ring generalship: The judges favor the fighter who controls the pace and style of the bout.(Floyd was the general and controlled the action period. Manny didn't fight his style a of fight, he fought Floyds, who took away his combinations and in and out style)
Defense: Boxers that skillfully incorporate defensive maneuvers receive credit in this area.(Do I need to explain this one, no I don't)Last edited by Calabis; 05-27-2015, 02:27 PM.Comment
