8lbs & replacing all that fat with muscle with his training schedule? at his age in such a short timeframe, no. Its not humanly possible.

I think my brother must be on PEDS. He's had better gains than that and he is older than Povetkin.

I have no idea if he's on PEDS or not, but I believe his weight is higher than usual right now. Comparing video footage and photos can often reveal su****ious changes in an athlete's body. Try examining images of Povetkin at age 30 with today at age 35.

One thing I find funny about this KO 1 victory is how quickly fans are hyping him as the new #1 in the heavyweight division. Some of the same people rooting for him now claimed not long ago that we're in the "era of big men," and guys who were David Haye size supposedly couldn't compete with the big men. I guess Povetkin has changed their opinions when it comes to size!

The average weight of a HW division fighter is 225lbs, the heftiest ever in history.. Povetkin is slightly larger than the average. Wladimir Klitschko's average opponent weight is 235lbs, the heftiest average opponents of any HW boxer in history. Povetkin is slightly under this, but if your gonna claim a few lbs here makes a big difference, then your basically admitting how much weight matters in HW boxing. You cannot have it both ways!

Povetkin is by no means a small HW.

I think it's a fair question to ask. This guy at one point was an underwhelming boxer who many forum members used to call Pussvetkin. He arguably lost to a cruiserweight.

But now suddenly he's a beast who is knocking out heavyweight contenders left and right? That does tend to raise eyebrows even if it doesn't definitively prove anything.

Should the fight with Wilder get made I hope they both agree to USADA or VADA just to ease any doubts about possible PED use.

I'm sure most athletes juice, but Povetkin's run is no reason to start questioning him. It's just as likely that the Wlad loss lit a fire under him.

I'm not discounting that possibility man. That's why I included that option in the vote...just asking whether people think his run is su****ious. I am not sure either way, hence I voted 'not sure'.

Although, 'perfectly capable' isn't entirely true. He was never known as a monster puncher to be expected to KO guys that had not been KO'd before. He's struggled to hurt less durable fighters prior to the Wlad fight.

No I don't think so at all. Povetkin is just too determined and refuses to be stopped. After wlad retires povetkin will be king guaranteed.
