The Povetkin hate is getting out of control...
Do you think Povetkin is on PEDs?

Why is it su****ious? This is HW. Perez walked right into a monster overhand right and it gave him spaghetti legs. Povetkin then finished him. IMO there is nothing fishy whatsoever. Povetkin is a powerful puncher, this isn't new.Comment

I've been thinking the same thing, I like Povetkin but that's what I've been thinking based off the more muscular appearance and much better performances. Comparison pics could help as well. Many athletes do peds, either way Povetkin looks significantly improved.Comment

All of this ^^^^^^.No. He won gold in the world amateurs in 2003, and won gold again at the 2004 Olympics.
And he won another 10 or more gold medals in international tournaments.
Povetkin has arguably the best amateur record of any super heavyweight in history.
Ever hear of Olympic style random PED testing?
Stop being jealous of Povetkin! He's an exciting boxer who doesn't repeatedly clinch and push down his opponents like some other heavyweights.

STFU mate! You make some very good points but I'm not that worried about his power punching because, in all honesty, it's not like he is fighting world beaters. It just shows the huge gap between the top 3 guys in the division and everyone else and Wlad and the top 3 guys, it's why the heavyweight division has been dying for so long.
I guarantee you, if Povetkin v Wlad was to happen again, we'd see the exact same fight and the exact same result. I'd be interested in seeing Pov v Stiverne or Wilder.
You will say literally anything to bummify them you piece of ****.
They are good wins...
As if Takam was not a great opponent, ****ing LOOK at him for Christ sake!
Who the hell of your old school boy favourites would be allowed to have even fought Takam let alone beat him? Yeah right!Comment

Povetkin is on PEDs? Why?
He looked abnormally ripped? He threw 200 punches a round? He punched Perez into the back of the stadium??
No.
Poverkin showed up borderline out-of-shape and knocked Perez the **** out because he hit Perez with a few shots that he did not see coming. First the overhand right that wobbled him, and the he walked right into the the first KD shot while trying to reposition.... never saw it.
Fight should have been stopped right there. Perez was discombobulated when the ref waived it off; he wasnt KOd, he was just in no shape to continue.
Saying Povetkin was on PED's for landing a couple good punches on an opponent that walked right into them is..... very desperate.Comment

And I was labelled a hater when I made this thread...

Interesting to see the poll results from 2015, what say you now, Boxing Scene?

Poll results after 2015's win v Mike Perez:
Yes - no way he has suddenly become a monster puncher
13 19.70%
No - he is reaping the benefits of being in shape and focused
31 46.97%
Maybe/Not sure
22 33.33%
Let's see how we vote now - yes being 'yes, he is clearly intentionally using PEDS', the other options if you think it's all somehow a mistake.Comment
