It was but you have to remember that the replay of the Pac/Floyd fight had some influence

maypac average 1.18mill and then the main event rounded off to 2.2 mill viewers. your trying to hard to discredit Canelos superstar status. Whether you like it or not hes gonna be carrying boxing next like DLH n Floyd/Pac were. Cotto is on his way out and deal with it.

Drawing power goes to Canelo. Cotto is the champ so i say 50/50 no A side

why is it so important to canelo fans to have the fight in "home turf"?

In boxing the A-side is the one who generates more $. In that case Canelo is the A-side.

Canelo vs Kirkland - Free; most viewed cable bout since 2006 with a 2.3 mil peak.

I'm too lazy to record the live gate for some of their most recent bouts so maybe someone else could record those. I know that they sold some real cheap tickets for Canelo's fights against Trout and Lara, but the turnout was pretty good for very large venues. As far as complete sell-outs, I'm not sure.

I'm also aware that there was a poor turnout for Cotto's fights against Martinez and Trout.

Perhaps someone could find out which fighter has had more consecutive sell outs?

Canelo. It's not close. Cotto is basically trying to cash out right now.

What where floyd's numbers BEFORE the ODH fight?
