Ok well isn't that a pretty big accomplishment within itself? I think it's still worth mentioning.

Canelo easily. Cotto fought Floyd after many years on HBO and PPV and did a great number of 1.5 million. Canelo fought Floyd in his first PPV and it did 2.2 million and held the revenue record until this year. Trout schooled Cotto, Canelo won easily. Cotto did horrible numbers against the man at 160 at the time and guy that had been on PPV before. Canelo did similar numbers in a non title fight against an unknown and boring Lara.
If he wins Cotto has to decide if he wants to lose his title against GGG or the young ginger. Either way he gets his ass beat. He will make much more $$$ fighting Canelo though.

          That's a great point.

Cotto is a great draw but I doubt he does north of 200k against Lara and if Canelo would have fought Martinez I don't see that fight doing less then 400k.

I still think it's a 50/50 profit share if Canelo fights Cotto, both guys deserve respect because they are both draws.

I think Canelo is the draw at this stage.

He's a massive attraction and he brings in big bucks. Cotto-Canelo is a very big fight, given everything I think 50/50 is fair.

Cotto's fight with Mayweather was closer than Canelo's so I would say that Cotto is the A side.

Canelo was on Floyd's undercard for years, that's the only reason he is a draw. It took like what 6 fights to set up that fight with Canelo. Cotto got his numbers on his own, Canelo piggy backed off of Floyd. The real question here is what has Canelo done without Floyd's name involved?

                    300k that's it.

That is all that matters as long as Cotto has not been stripped or otherwise loses his title by fight time. Right now, at this particular point in time, Cotto is the A side and I voted that way. But if Cotto loses to Geale, he becomes the B side and if he is stripped of the title before the fight, I would consider both fighters on equal standing.
