Canelo's the bigger fighter, Golden Boy Promotions is the bigger promoter, and the venues are bigger in Texas.

Yeah, I was one of them... I simply could have ignored your question and you'd still be searching for an answer.

Using their highest (not involving Floyd) Canelo did 1 million less... Take out Pac too? Canelo still did half of what Cotto did.
are you seriously comparing overall PPV numbers in their careers? Canelo is 24 ***in years old and pretty much just started his career. Cotto is obviously more established in terms of career numbers, but as of right now Canelo is on his way up while Cotto is close to leaving the sport. Its pretty obvious who draws in more viewers AT THIS point in their careers. I've always conceded Canelo give in to Cottos A-side demands out of respect and because of his tenure in the sport. But as far as who brings in more $$$, its Canelo.

Don't give me "Canelo is still young" bull****. No, that excuse doesn't work. You don't get to say "he did 2.2 million and **** all over Cotto/Floyd" then say "he's young and unknown doe." Nah, don't work that way. The topic is who is the A side, I look at all the numbers and the reply is "Nah, the numbers don't count doe" but they do count when it's Canelo's numbers. Idiots lmao.

Since we're talking money, what was the gate for Canelo's fight at $10 tickets? Cotto/Margarito did like a 5 million gate, Canelo is only talking about the rating, go figure it still relied on Floyd like every other "top earning" thing in Canelo's career.

Absolutely yes. If you didn't you would have just come out and said Cotto only did "x" amount with this guy.

He's not unkown, but you're comparing a fighter who was on an inferior television network.

                    Canelo isn't on SHO anymore.

His Nielsen ratings and PPV buys are both going to increase on HBO.

So using SHO #'s is unconvincing.

Oh please. It's quicker to do a google search than it is to ask a question on a forum.
