Of course you're going to land less and throw less if there is no opportunity to engage because one guy wants to play tag, run and headlock almost ALL NIGHT!!!!!!!!!. Since Floyd is fighting on that date and this time he has a major incentive to snatch up Cotto, looks like Canelo will be fighting on Showtime that date then. He wants to "wait" 2 years to fight GGG so Canelo/Clottey on PPV? He's going to kill that Mayweather/Cotto 2 number.

Whoever keeps saying Cotto won't fight again in September... if he's in an easy fight and a shot at Floyd I don't see why not, might be better for him. He'll be much sharper and in better shape.

Floyd could solve the date problem by signing to fight Canelo for September 12th. Plus he could solve Cannel's ego problem by humiliating him over 12 rounds again (and without C.J. Ross as a judge to skew the scoring this time).

I feel you bruh, I'll be doing the same. That Mexican boy still can't outsell Floyd on a Mexican holiday. He needs to face facts, he not the face of boxing. Nor can he steal Floyd's dates just because of his nationality.

If he doesn't fight Cotto or GGG he won't top Floyd's fight. If he fights Clottey or some other non top 10 fighter he can forget the date. Mayweather vs Garcia/Thurman/Brook/Khan would all be more worth watching than Canelo vs Clottey or some other irrelevant opponent.

I'll pay to see Canelo fight on that date not Floyd, as I've said before only a ****** or a black would pay to see Floyd fight. Fight, that's what real men want to see a fight not a dance contest, dancing with the stars is free. Canelo fight with Kirkland was wayyyyy more entertaining than Gay weather and it was free.

Cotto and Canelo have already made the deal to fight so as long as Cotto wins that fight is happening this year.
