Call it an accomplishment or not, I really really enjoyed Canelo Kirkland, every minute of it was better than MayPac.
Regarding Ishida, when guys like Bob Arum can't sell 2 time Olympic gold medalists like Guillermo Rigo to the American audience, you really expect promoters/HBO/Sho to be able to sell Ishida who is Japanese & can't speak English to save his life? Had Ishida been a non English speaking Mexican..things might have worked out for him/his career...it's a business after all.Comment

Floyd fans don't see their hero is fading. Noone was interested in whom Floyd was fighting unless he faced Pacquiao. Then most people got excited and had their hopes up for an exciting fight, but were sorely disappointed in how uneventful the fight turned out to be.
Floyd fans don't get that many people will not blame Pacquiao for not being able to force Floyd to fight. They will see through that and put the blame where it belongs, which is on Floyd.
Even if this is Floyd's farewell fight, it will be another forgettable fight. I would be surprised if his PPV numbers are large. I think Canelo can start dictating his own terms.Comment

He didn't copy off Oscar. That's irrelevant anyway. He never tried to take those dates from him like Canelo. Oscar fought on any months from January to December. I don't even think he fought the biggest Mexican legend Chavez on May or September.Comment
