Since Floyd is fighting on that date and this time he has a major incentive to snatch up Cotto, looks like Canelo will be fighting on Showtime that date then. He wants to "wait" 2 years to fight GGG so Canelo/Clottey on PPV? He's going to kill that Mayweather/Cotto 2 number.

Whoever keeps saying Cotto won't fight again in September... if he's in an easy fight and a shot at Floyd I don't see why not, might be better for him. He'll be much sharper and in better shape.

Nothing but the truth. Floyd finally killed his ppv draw by turning the fight of the century into the borefest of the century. The biggest stage of his career and he stunk it up. Almost all of the public made a joke out of the fight because of Floyd's cowardice. This was the final straw for many ppv buyers. No one is going to spend good money on that fraud no matter who he fights because at the end of the day all he'll want to do is play tag. What a joke hahahahahaha. At least canelo makes a good effort not only to win but entertain and excite the viewers.
