canelo needs cotto to overtake sept...
floyd doesnt have a fight to compete with that.
and he also doesnt have the public on his side since the majority of the public blames floyd for the anticlimactic may/pac
(btw im not saying it was floyds fault, but it is general perception that he's to blame for it)Comment

Supposedly, Floyd proved this in 2007 when he fought De La Hoya. Yet, he has been the biggest PPV draw in history since then. He supposedly proved this again in the Alvarez fight, yet he just drew 4.4 million PPV buys.
No matter how much you haters write this nonsense, it won't make it true. Alvarez will move off the September date just like he moved off the May 2 date. If Mayweather decides to fight a rematch against #48, Alvarez won't be fighting on the first Saturday in May 2016 either.
floyd doesnt have anybody to generate that type of interest anymore
and that rematch isn't going to do well eitherComment

More people have wised up especially after forking over $100. They learned their lesson BIG TIME. Not to mention a lot of the younger casuals who didn't see that oscar fight has wised up. The internet was flooded with Floyd coward memes for a reason. The big consensus from a lot of the public was that Floyd is a coward not worth spending anymore money on. Everyone will know to avoid a boring tag fest starring Floyd tag fest champion. What a punk. Canelo vs Kirkland was real boxing. Floyd vs pac was a boring run and tag joke.
Floyd was on the BIGGEST stage of his career and he stunk it up BIG TIME. In front of 40k people in Texas, canelo proved he is the bigger and more exciting draw.Comment
