pacquiao going toe-to-toe with the MUCH bigger margarito on the ropes. you'll see that pac is very effectvie at blocking most of margarito's attacks with his gloves. also notice how pac effortless gets off the ropes and darts in to attack. very good example of pac's elusive movement and defense.

yup, mayweather reflexes are a big part of his game and on the inside he cant really use them so he will eat punches.

Ahh good point. I always seem to forget the Margarito fight.

I am just fantasizing Hagler hearns. A fan can dream

they're either very casual when it comes to actually analyzing fights and fighters or they're blind.

pac has a very underrated inside game. it's just that he chooses to fight darting in and out from different angles.

Pacquiao is no Amir Khan, it's not that bad but he doesn't have an inside game worth noting at all so in short I'll say no. Even when the opportunity was there to fight up close, even against light hitters, he would look for the ref or go into that defensive shell. When Katsidis and Diaz, who are no where near the level of Pacquiao, can have the kind of success they did pushing Marquez back; working on the inside, that's really shows Pacquiao's inability to fight up close. It's not exactly high level stuff Diaz or Katsidis were displaying against Marquez either.

Yes hr can fight inside, if he has too. He's one of the best out there. He's a small guy so it's not in his best interest to sit in the pocket with the big punchers he fights.

Pacquiao does whatever the **** he wants to in the ring for the most part, but it's not his style nor in his best interest to plod right in front of guys and rest heads and slug it out.

He was hitting Brandon Rios with uppercuts. His short, little send, have to be inside to land uppercuts.

He doesn't however catch and shoot like Mayweather (see De La Hoya) or Hopkins (see Trinidad)
