Much like Klitschko i still believe has a shaky chin but it counts for nothing when it's extremely difficult to land flush.
Pacquiao ain't hard to hit flush. Marquez and Bradley were doing it lots of times.

He needs to attack Floyd from angles I don't think being in on Floyd is the key ..But I have to agree with the consensus he really doesn't have an inside game ..

If you watch his earlier fights in lower weight classes you can see he can fight inside. Its only when he started moving up in weight he stopped cuz he was much smaller. He wouldnt be able to fight inside with cotto or oscar

No. Pacquiao has always been a mid-range fighter.

I'm surprised that aspect hasn't come into play more in his fights. While fighters like Bradley and Algieri were busy trying to outbox him figuring themselves to be more skilled they were getting beat on. Says a lot about how great Manny is to have a non-existent part of his game at this level and still be that bad ass.

It's not that he doesn't have a part of his game. It's that why would he want to do something that isn't a strength of his game? He prefers to pepper you with bombs mid range or come in and blitz you and get out before you can return fire.

Inside fighting isn't something you need to survive in boxing if you don't need to engage it at all. Pac rather make you pay for trying to get inside on him and that keeps opponents away from him if possible. To me, that is a better gameplan than allowing a fighter to get close to you and whack away at your body and land uppercuts.

Pacquiao has a method to his madness.

That's true. Sadly skilled inside fighting is becoming a dying art in itself. There's something to be said for being good at it. Not just a Rios or Alvarado looking to trade punch for punch.

Guys like Cotto and Mayweather can do it very well in spots and be defensively responsible. It lets you get a breather from out boxing which is tiring as all hell.

This isn't the point. I think we all agree that Pacquiao is a very dangerous mid range fighter because of how fast he is on his feet and how fast he lets his hands go. He's also an underrated counter puncher.

However the question was simple and the answer is no, he doesn't have much of an sindide game. When the fight is rough and close he puts his hands up and looks for a way out. This doesn't diminish him in the least because his strengths overweight where he lacks.

JMM vs Katsidis showed what inside fighting should look like.
