He has a vicious body punching on the inside, but like a poster said already he lits you up when you try to get on the side against him.

Margarito, Rios, two big powerful dudes and they coudlent really get on the inside.

This thread is targeted at all the morons that said Bayless will stop Pacquiao fighting inside.

insults asaide, I suspect it is the other way around. It will be in Floyd's interest to get inside.

I have this completely non scientific feeling that we will see the opposite of what people have long expected--Pac attacks, Floyd defends--. I think Floyd will come out extremely aggressive to impose size and inside skill.

No one expects that, but I am hopeful.

Pacquiao can fight anywhere, inside, outside, in the ring, in a back alley. In a ****ing phone booth. He's a fighter bro, love him or hate him. Yes hr can fight inside, if he has too. He's one of the best out there. He's a small guy so it's not in his best interest to sit in the pocket with the big punchers he fights.

Pacquiao does whatever the **** he wants to in the ring for the most part, but it's not his style nor in his best interest to plod right in front of guys and rest heads and slug it out.

He was hitting Brandon Rios with uppercuts. His short, little send, have to be inside to land uppercuts.

He doesn't however catch and shoot like Mayweather (see De La Hoya) or Hopkins (see Trinidad)

Margarito, although past his best, couldn't impose his size on Pacman, Mayweather isn't going to. It will be Mayweather sticking, moving, defending on the ropes and the rounds going back and forth but May's more precise punching but lower output winning him the fight.

He doesn't need to. One of the most overrated criticisms of pac. Name one guy that can walk pac down and get inside without getting lit up.

Rios, margarito, hatton who are known for their inside work got absolutely destroyed. To get inside you have to have an offensive mentality and risk getting hit. You think a defense fighter like floyd is going to want to get inside when he sees 4 punches coming his way? LMAO no chance.

if floyd goes inside on pacquiao he will eat a lots of overhands, i have not seen one fighter trying to get inside on pacquiao not eating a monster overhand coming in or overhands while inside

it will be very much like this

pacquiao can be very dynamic on the inside. he'll throw and land from alot of angles and turn his opponent. pac's inside game is VERY UNDERRATED. only reason why casuals say he can't fight on the inside is because they can't analyze a fight.

look at how quick and sneaky pac is with that over hand left on the inside. floyd is going to have to watch out for that if he tries and get on the inside with pac. and bradley is a pretty good inside fighter same with rios.

look at pacquiao moving backwards, landing combinations on the inside. very impressive work from pac. people say pac can't fight going backwards and that he can't fight inside??? hahahahahhaha

a good example of pacquiao landing combinations and turning his opponent. a lot of confusion for a guy like bradley. and i think all that turning is what hurt bradley's ankle. most guys can't keep up with pac's movement on the inside.

just because pac doesn't normally fight on the inside doesn't mean he can't. he just likes to fight darting in and out from angles.

Not really, although he will try to fight his way out to his mid range distance which is where hes most effective, problem is getting on the inside of pacquiao and staying there to work.

You have to remember, Pacquiao, given his size, doesn't need much space to get off, covers ground so quick, you might walk into something trying to get in position.

Margarito tried it, Miguel Cotto also did, but were unsuccessful on the long wrong.

Margarito's career was ruined, Cotto got a beating.
