Apologies, i worded that wrong. I meant Wlad is hard to hit, not Manny

It was just an example of another fighter who has a potential weakness that is not hugely detrimental to their game because they have a way of not exposing it.

      this is what im worried
floyd might do a bernard hopkin method

manny better be ready for clinches too

floyd does not care if the fight gets boring he just want to please himself and not the fans

If I was In Pac corner it would be left upper cut to to gut or under his elbow to dislocate his arm when Floyd starts elbowing followed by right hook than back to the uppercut than spin Floyd

At one point during the Rios fight,Rios actually started holding and hitting with his free hand and Manny just stood there.Eventually Rios stopped because the fans began to boo,I doubt if that works against Mayweather.

Haha like it's as simple as that.

Like the great Eddie Futch said when someone suggested Diego Corrales do similar things and try to injure Floyds shoulders, arms and elbows. He said "I guess he thinks he's going to stand there and let him hit him on the arms all night,"

and someone said, "it doesn't matter if floyd spams the clinch, because pacquiao isn't trying to work in the clinch range"

an example of him fighting at close range

trying to fight in "clinch range"

                smacks'em good in this one

Cong**** you've found 10 seconds out of a full fight where Pacquiao was fighting close.

                    It's not his strength.

Never really seen him do it consistently.

I don't see it as a problem though. He's ATG in other areas.

Floyd has gotten shockingly good at it though (maybe the best inside fighter? His defense inside is other worldly).

Pac will want to avoid inside fighting/clinching with Floyd. Doesn't play to his strengths. To his credit, I don't see how Floyd forces an inside fight unless of course he decides to use his size to walk Pac down, which would be the ultimately FU move and would put Floyd in a stratified legend status.

                      they're gifs you ******

although admittedly i dont think the mosley fight had too much inside fighting because if mosley wasn't constantly running, he was clinching

anyway, the point of those mosley ones was just to show him fighting out of the clinch or in that range, which a poster said he doesn't do, so floyds clinch spamming shouldn't hurt pacquiao

he's got plenty of other close range moments, like the post above the one you quoted which although not like the contemporary pacquiao which is more headhunter with hooks to the head when inside, which isn't as often as roach has given him the in and out style
