zero inside game, usually looks at the ref during clinches
Does Pacquiao have an inside game?

No, but he is rarely stuck there.
Occasionally he will just shove up a high guard, but mostly he uses footwork and angles to maintain the middle distance against guys who want to work inside against him.
I dont see it being a major issue in this fight unless Floyd is planning on clinching a lot.Comment

zero inside game but he knows how to avoid it. rios and hatton are both good inside fighters but neither had a chance and got beaten badly.Comment

What y'all talking about? Pac does have an inside game. That's how he knocked cotto down the second time. He just rarely puts himself in that position.Comment

You know that's a good point, he tried in the first Morales fight too but Morales was better, Pacquiao improved in that. He showed some good inside work against Cotto in the first 4 or 5 rounds when Cotto was firing back and Pacquiao couldn't stay on the outside without getting hit.
All great fighters have multiple facets to their game, some things they r better at than others.Comment

Pac doesn't try to get involved with clinches. If you look at his fight with Hatton who LOVES to hit and hold, Pac rather than play that game, he had a right hook ****ed and ready to fly everytime Hatton jumped in to hold.
This is how Hatton got stunned pretty bad right before the first KD in the first rd. Pac rather time you coming in than let you come in and hold.
On the other hand, if fighters are successful at getting in close to clinch or hold, Pac doesn't do much. I just think Pac tries to make fighters think twice before coming in and holding because Pac in his mental mind, just doesn't like to get involved in clinches and holding. Once he feels a fighter is trying to play that game, he throws more hooks or punches that will deter the opponent from trying to get in close anymore.Comment

Pac doesnt have an inside game in the traditional sense, but his fast short punches translate into the opponent getting his ass kicked while on the inside. His small frame makes it hard for normal sized welters to even fight him on the inside.Comment

He doesn't but he is very good at not allowing anybody to force him to fight inside. So it's a non issue.
Much like Klitschko i still believe has a shaky chin but it counts for nothing when it's extremely difficult to land flush.Comment
