Yeah. I'm curious to see how receptive the U.S. audience is for Vasyl Lomachenko. He's not a destroyer like Golovkin. I guess he can be a road warrior like Kovalev.

Like most Americans, you think your sports and organizations are the best in the world. Anyone using the word PRESTIGE in concert with WWE really is not worth getting into a discussion with. Like SERIOUSLY??? Prestige and WWE?

Like i said, i don't think you understand the business concepts that are being discussed in this thread..

Vince mcmahon laid the blueprint, UFC followed it, and now haymon is following it.....
Sure wrestling is fake, but the brand awareness is thru the ****ing room, everyone knows hulk hogan, rock undertaker, wrestle mania...

Yup it will be hard for him to reach superstar status or even to the level of a Golovkin who atleast can get 5-6k for a fight here.

That leaves aside the non-European prospects Top Rank has (like Jose Ramirez, Oscar Valdez, Saul Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez, et al.).

And let's see where things go with Vasyl Lomachenko, especially after his undercard slot of Pacquiao-Mayweather, which presumably would give him a significant bounce in notoriety.

IF there is someone who does not understand basic business concepts here, it is you. Vince McMahon does not advise or manage any of the wrestlers in the WWE. Dana White and the Ferita brothers do not advise of manage any of the fighters in the UFC. Bud Selig does not manage or advise any MLB player. The commissioner of the NFL does not have personal contracts with any football player or team. THEY CANNOT AS IT WOULD BE A CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND ILLEGAL.

Haymon cannot legally be in control of a boxing 'league' or be the 'commissioner' of such a league while also having the athletes who work for that league under personal services contracts such as an advisor or manager.

Now, when you accept that as a fact we can continue the discussion. Until then, do not bother replying to my posts as I am done with trying to have an intelligent discussion with someone who obviously is not able to participate.

Be successful? Americans want violence if you win like Guillermo Riguondaux you will get nothing from americans. Manny Pacquiao became what he is today because he KO people and won fights agaisnt some of the biggest draws of our era. If you are put in the ring agaisnt De La Hoya and Cotto and you beat them down you sure as hell will get popular.

Why do you think GGG team wants the fight so badly with Cotto? Just like WWE you need to beat an stablish superstar of the sport to gain the fan fare. Brock Lesnar beats The Rock, Batista beats triple H, goldberg beats Hogan and the list goes on and on. Is the Same in boxing Mayweather needed to beat Oscar to reach his status. You need that big superstar win to get there.
