Cotto has tanked straight right hands from Mosley and Bailey without blinking...and you think Manny hurt him without him being weight drained?

Cotto is kinda awkward like Canelo in the sense that it killed him to make 147 yet is too small for JMW...let alone MW

Definately not. Cotto just schooled. He held his own thru he 1st part of the fight.

He fought Clottey at 146. He started his camp early so it helped with his weight class. On the scale he looked in GREAT shape, arguably the best shape aesthetically. In the fight, he fought like he typically would, he was very competitive until Pac took that jab away and started his darting motions and feints.

Cotto is a small 154lb'er, let's keep that in mind. He had the weight, size advantage over Pac..he did rehydrate well but styles make fights. Pac would always beat Cotto due to styles doesn't matter at what weight. I'm a big Cotto fan but facts are facts. Pac was just in unbelievable form at the time, THAT was the fight that made Floyd go ok, this little mofo IS REAL. It was quite rare to find people discrediting Pac at the time in terms of ability, they just hopped on the steroid bandwagon. He was demolishing people, a man in his absolute prime. I think he steadily declined after that fight, he was still excellent until after the Marg fight but he slowed down fight after fight.

What about Corley, Torres and Judah? They hurt Cotto.

Speed kills, especially mixed with Pacquaio's explosiveness.

Mayweather and Trout rocked Cotto, you think Pacquaio can't?

No Cotto hasn't got a big frame and wasn't fighting at higher weights when they fought. Weight wasn't an issue at all. Prime Pacquiao was a few steps better than prime Cotto.

2 lbs of less of muscle might help a bit but having his friend the nutritionist as his trainer cost him the more. Cotto was still dealing with his Margacheatos demons and the Clottey fight.

Thing is this idiot, the fight was at a catch weight of 143, and Cotto was having trouble making 47 at the time.
