Yeah he did. Those left hooks to the body in the 6th round (I believe) hurt Pacquiao BAD. Pac still says that was his hardest fight ever

He had a 3 month training camp too, and was fast as he was at a low bodyfat and looked in really good shape he had a nutritionist, conditioning coach, the lot.
what are their names? Trainers name as well would help?

He did look very thin on fight night compared to other welter fights... but it was Manny's speed & angles that destroyed Cotto... plus that ****** corner man he had didn't help.

Maybe, but the bigger issue was that he basically had no trainer for that fight.

Not to mention Pacquiao's cauliflower ear from one of Cotto's punches.

I don't Cotto was drained for the fight, he just didn't have the tools to deal with someone like Pacquiao. Cotto doesn't control distnance, doesn't feint and doesn't nearly move his head enough. Cotto's better punches are wide ones (left hook in particular) and Pacquiao finds it harder to deal with straight punches. The style was just all wrong for Cotto.

The only thing I take issue with, is the notion that if "he didn't like it, he shouldn't have signed the contract". Cotto was behind the "8 ball" where if he didn't defend against Pacquiao, he would be stripped of the WBO title, and to defend it, he had to do it at 145lbs. That was as wrong as the day is long.

cotto is a good but nothing special fighter.

problem is cotto and a FEW of his boyfriends think he's great.

hence they find so many excuses for his ass whoopings.

                      marg had plaster. no proof.

cotto was weight drained against pac. he wasn't.

pac was on peds. no proof.

mayweather fight was close. it wasn't.

                      trout fight didn't happen.
