What has Stevenson gained thus far by signing with Haymon?

I was wondering if you meant take-home. There's still a disparity of what he actually earned. The source I posted said he was to make over $1million, but the source you posted said he made half that. In any event, it was better than the many free fights he fought before being signed by Duva.Yes I did. Did you see where after he paid all his fees, taxes etc that he was left with about a quarter of that?
Sergey Kovalev, in defending against one of his mandatory challengers, is giving Jean Pascal the opportunity to fight for three world titles. Pascal, who meets Kovalev in Montreal on March 14, says he’s happy to be giving Kovalev something in return. “I’m really, really glad to give Kovalev his first real payday, because I think he got underpaid by his people, because after like 23 fights [Kovalev’s had 27], it’s his first real payday,” Pascal said on a Feb. 24 media conference call. “After his fight against Hopkins, I think he got only 100k, something like that, and that’s very, very bad for a champion of his caliber. I think Kovalev deserves way more money, a lot of money, and I’m very glad that I’m giving him this opportunity.”
I should have posted his take from the Bernard fight and not his purse-my mistake.Comment

This ^^^^^I don't know how much you think the fight is worth now compared to then. It's not Mayweather-Pacquaio. How long do you accept "building a fight"? When they fought on the same card a couple of years ago - that was designed to build the fight. It could always in theory become bigger. So why not have both of them KO some bums until 2016 or 2017 when it will really be at it's apex!
Plus, like I keep saying, Kovalev and Duva are going to be coming from a much stronger position now that they've actually put work in. In the first round of negotiations, they were willing to take the short end of the money. Now....not so much.
As for Stevenson, his stock has dropped after that ****ty display against Fonfara and the fact that no one is watching him fight.Comment

all you've done this thread is whine because I answered the question factually and didn't copy the same sheep like behavior of you or gong.
Pretend Adonis is from England, you will surely change your perception.Comment

So actually wanting to see the best fight the best is being a sheep, but blindly slurping up any crumbs a manager tosses you is being smart? My god, you're something else.

without question, Kov has made a huge leap in pay the last few years. He is going to make the most lucrative fights, as Duva stated clearly the main focus was the money. She got him the HBO deal which is great.I was wondering if you meant take-home. There's still a disparity of what he actually earned. For whatever reason he didn't take home much from the BHOp fight and that's on Kathy.
My only point is giving an honest answer to the TS question rather than the BS fueled by hatred. Adonis has a showtime deal, which he didn't have before he signed with Haymon. He's made more money for each of the 2 crap fights than he would have for the Kov fight on HBO at the time.Comment

He made more for 2 fights than he would have got for 1 fight? Wow....incredible.without question, Kov has made a huge leap in pay the last few years. He is going to make the most lucrative fights, as Duva stated clearly the main focus was the money. She got him the HBO deal which is great.

Learn to read, he made more for each of the fights than he would have for the Kov fight.
You are on record as saying you don't mind if a fighter takes a bigger payday over the better fight.Comment
