Not if it goes to purse bid.
Well Wilders team would have to make sure they win the purse bid. I'm sure golden boy has deep enough pockets for a 75% split.

Wilders 0 will make him a marketing spectacle. They just have to keep him away from Wlad and he'll be making millions in years to come.

Javier, his résumé is very good he didn't just beat those yesteryear guys. Watch his other fights beside the wlad one, he's a great puncher.

Wilder looks like a very exciting fighter, he should milk his title for another year or two and then take on Wlad when he's old. If he pulls that off he could be making 20 mil a night fighting whoever the f he wants.

Unfortunately, looking it up and Povetkin although holder of the WBC Silver belt, isn't the mandatory.

The WBC seems to want Perez- Povetkin for the eliminator for the mandatory.

If Povetkin was the mandatory there woudn be a discussion beyond the purse bid because the Russians would win it.

What all this means is I think you might see Wilder once more this year and I doubt it'd be against either Fury or Povetkin.

You gotta figure an optional defense then a whole lot of negotiation.

which means 2016 essentially. Even Fury doesn't sound like he wants it any time in the near future. He was talking about the "build up" rather than the actual fight sending clear signals it would probably be down the road a bit.

Povetkin? The guy who went life and death with Nicolai Firtha and whose only claim to fame is getting his a$$ whooped by Wlad?

The story and website seem dubious anyways and I doubt anyone is offering Wilder 10m.

yes. wilder is not pulev that gonna rabbit punch the entire time... pulev also didn't move his feet. povetkin couldnt get wlad to stop leaning on him... also I blame the ref for that horrible show of boxing of wlad hitting and holding. throw on top of that wlad has a terrible chin.
