Wilder is being groomed for an epic failure. Who would have thought that America has to sink this low to keep a HW scene alive? Smh.

What all this means is I think you might see Wilder once more this year and I doubt it'd be against either Fury or Povetkin.

You gotta figure an optional defense then a whole lot of negotiation.

which means 2016 essentially. Even Fury doesn't sound like he wants it any time in the near future. He was talking about the "build up" rather than the actual fight sending clear signals it would probably be down the road a bit.

It's one big mess But if that's the case I still want to see a credible opponent for Wilder's first defense. Someone in the top 10 or I'm not interested.

His chin is so terrible he hasn't been down in over 9 years getting close to 10.

I mean even with all the hugging and stuff, nobody has touched it for that long.

I'd understand if he was David Price or something but I can't understand why people still say that.

He's been hit in all of his fights, and by punchers. He seems to be fine these days.

IDK who Wilder will fight this year.

I just know for damn sure that he won't be fighting Wladimir anytime soon.

Klitschko is a machine, and he's probably going to beat Joe Louis record of 25 title defenses. No one in the division even gives him a tough fight. It's to the point where all the fighters know this and actually quit and go survival mode in the middle of the fight because they have no chance.

Don't be ******, even if he did stand a chance against Wlad, why take the risk when you could be making millions when he retires and Wilder can promote himself as being the undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world? This guy is gonna make a tonne of money if he plays his cards right.

His focus seems to be on Fury. He needs to work his way up the rankings. Povetkin is a HUGE step up.

Holyfield had a rough enough time with him and that was the version that then recently fought Lennox. Johnny even dropped him, something the harder hitting Lewis couldn't do. If anything, Ruiz is underrated due to his horrible style to watch.. or maybe the HW division has always been pretty crap and even a hugger like Ruiz could do well even in one of the "glory days".
