Take the fight with a rematch clause and earn a ridiculously high payday.
From years of following the sport, I've learned one important thing: there are no guarantees in boxing. What I mean is, there is no guarantee that Wilder will ever have such a high payday. There's no guarantee that he'll win his next fight; there is no guarantee that he won't get injured, etc., etc.
I'll give you a couple examples:
Sergio Mora turned down a career high payday of $1 million against Jermaine Taylor back in (I think) 2004 because he was afraid he wouldn't get a fair shake (the fight was in Taylor's backyard). Since then, he has not made anywhere close to that kind of purse.
David Haye repeatedly pulled out of a fights against Tyson Fury where he would've made $5 - $10 million. Since then, he retired and has made no where near that amount.
"The project is to develop the technical skills and physical Wilder just like you would any other athlete." That quote cracks me up, they had years to do that, you don't do that after you win a championship belt, you do it long before. Expect Wilder to be fighting the least dangerous fights they can find to hold onto that belt, what a pile of ****, I guess nobody should be surprised, its the state of boxing.

If they pick his opponents carefully, he could keep his 0 till Wlad retires and become the undisputed, undefeated heavyweight champion of the world. 10 mill would be nothing then. Wilder does have a big mouth so I can imagine people paying to see him lose, just like they do with Mayweather. I understand your point but truthfully I think wilder should play it safe with his zero and hope everything goes to plan. It's a risk I know but one that's well worth it.
All the variables of what if and what could in my mind go flying out the window when you have a guaranteed payday like that staring you in the face, even having to go to Moscow to get it.
And if Wilder does go for it and snaps it off, that's an instant cache of legitimacy, along with the 8 figure payday.
Thats not a fight. It's a mismatch. a joke. Fury is a bum. He can't fck with Wilder
Since the windmiller has such an impressive resume compared to Fury... Yup.. That windmiller is one hell of a head-turner alrght! With world beaters such as Owen "What the Heck" Beck, and the mighty Jason Gavern on his resume.
And Bermane "I got outboxed by 40+ year old Ray Austin for 9 rounds before he gassed..." Stiverne... Hahahahha
