Why would that be ridiculous? It would just be business as usual for Floyd. Les Moonves is about to learn the same lesson former HBO president Ross Greenburg learned back in 2010:

Greenburg insists the fight was close to being made twice for this year. “Both times, the fight was very close to being made,” Greenburg told Satterfield. “And, the second time around, you know, all that I can say is that you would have to ask Floyd Mayweather why the fight wasn’t made. I have no doubt Mayweather has been as big of an issue as anyone. Im talking about this round of negotiations though and my point is why people are taking Arum's word as gold.

He's been exposed as lying himself multiple times in the past about negotiations but we're just going to assume he's telling the truth now?

Youre talking about why Arum would go to CBS/Moonves if he didn't want this fight to happen but he's deceived him before and to the point according to Roach he "didnt want to work with the devil". How hard is to believe that Arum is a pain in the ass to deal with and him and Floyd are both egomaniacs who will keep getting in each other's ways.

You have to look at it both ways. Floyd has tried to reach out to Manny on several occasions (calling him, and even try to meet with him recently when they were both in LA). Arum wanted to build the stadium, was against the testing, wanted to fight at Cowboy stadium, doesn't want to fight on May 2 even though he has twice in the past against non Mexican opponents. He ask for a gag order but it is only his side talking, and when they do talk they say Floyd is holding up the fight but won't say why or what was agreed to.

If Manny promoted himself like Oscar, or Cotto they would have fought twice already. The reason he needs the Floyd fight is because Manny's PPV are way down and he never has any good opponents to fight.

Floyd has consistently said that Manny is not the problem (If the 2 actually met and sat at a table you would see this, but Manny is not a boss and that is why he hung up when Floyd called him the last time, why not call him yourself Manny?)

They don't want to negotiate in the media so the fans know all of the facts and can determine what is fair but will use it to put out all of this misinformation, and add road blocks to the fight.

What is the point in a deadline for the fight of the century. You obviously have not agreed on everything or a contract would be written already. Have all parties sat at a table at the same time (promoters, managers, networks, etc.)?

These are the questions that should be asked by the fans of both fighters but you idiots want to keep saying the one side is ducking the other with now evidence of what is happening. Does anyone even know if the split was agreed to or how much it is.

With so many contradictions from all parties, as someone said, they need to send in a top sports journalist who is not there to get all parties to spill the beans but just CLEAR UP with all parties what are lies, deceptions, and truths. Arum says there is a contract, Ariza says Floyd will not be fighting Pac and Floyd in a Twitter backs up Ariza, Espinoza says another thing, Sam Watson says another thing. Now its Les Moonbeams turn! We know Haymon does not actually exists in the real world so he isn't going to say anything at all as an extreme social introvert.

Arum has spoken to Al Haymon directly regarding the fight terms. Arum says that they are on the same page.

So, Haymon discussed the terms with Arum. Pacquiao agreed to the terms. It was sent back to Floyd so they can formalize a contract. Floyd hasn't signed off on it yet.
