  • You pieces of **** on boxing scene aren't gonna post the tweets from Stephen Espinoza from ShowTime, stating "there has been no contract drawn up, and he doesn't know what arum and koncs are talking about"

That's on Stephen Espinosa s twitter. Boxing scene is bias. Fighthype is better then you racist.

Why would there be a contract drawn up if we all know Floyd is ducking Pacquiao and just trying to save face with fake negotiations? Duhhhhhhhhhhhh there is no contract drawn up and there never will be one...

Bob Arum hasn't mentioned a word about the purse split. All he has said is that Pacquaio has agreed to all terms proposed by Mayweather. He didn't say what those terms were or tell us who he negotiatied with.

The assumption about the purse split came from some blogger's anonymous sources (in other words, he made it up) and everyone assumed it was what Pacqauio agreed upon. No one knows what is going on in negotiations because no official sources have said anything specific about the negotiations except: 1) According to Arum Pacqauio has agreed to all terms; and 2) according to Mayweather and Espinoza, they are still negotiating.

Believe who you want to believe. However, I recall that it wasn't two years ago that Bob Arum turned down a $3 million offer from GBP for Nonito Donaire to fight Abner Mares and claimed there was no offer. He then put Donaire in the ring with a journmeyman and only him $1.5 million. Arum doesn't have his fighters best interest at heart. He has his own, so I don't think he is working in Pacuqaio's best interest.

The same can be said for any promoter. The promoter will look out for themselves first and their boxer second. Nothing new with Arum.

Manny is going to make Floyd look bad officially since he gave their camp the 1/31 deadline or he's moving to plan B (Khan).

He said he is the A side, he makes the offers. If he takes credit for fights happening he has to take the blame when they don't happen. Pacquaio isn't running around saying his TBE and better than Ali so this fight not happening affects Floyd's legacy more than Pac's.
Not saying Arum is innocent but it seems Moonves and Showtime don't think he is negotiating in bad faith or they would have said so by now. It seems the only one that thinks Bob is a problem is Floyd and it seems for personal than getting business done. Let's hear some details on what exactly Bob is doing or lying about or its on Floyd at this point. What haven't they agreed to? What does Floyd still want to make him agree to terms so a contract can be written up?
Arum is working to try and have the public consensus be a 60/40 split of the take on Mayweather-Pacquiao; Mayweather is likely not offering that, with his continued mention of Pacquiao's collapsed PPV business.

Floyd, fighting under his own banner and with his only contract being to Showtime/CBS, is being the company man and is letting the negotiations continue on.

Arum, seeing the terms not going his way, is trying to find a different leverage point to use.

You are focusing on irrelevant examples to prove that Arum is avoiding the fight... Ross Greenburg would disagree... Floyd's joke of a $40 mil offer doesn't show he wants the fight... Blood testing excuse even after Manny agreed... if anything why hasn't any neutral person stated that Arum is the issue... neutral parties such as Ross Greenburg have all laid blame on Floyd just ducking the fight...
