That's all fine and great..but back in 2010...I thought Random-blood testing was the issue...never heard Bob Arum was the deal breaker until after Manny agreed to the blood-testing... then it was the $40 mil offer... my guess is Floyd will back off from accepting 60/40 and say that Pac has horrible PPV numbers etc. and he doesn't deserve 40%...

We'll see Floyd fight for way less money against Cotto and Pac will fight Ruslan/Maidana... Vargas will be saved for end of year in Macau...
If you do a little research; Floyd is on record saying he wouldn't deal with Arum back in 2010 and only wanted to deal with his stepson Todd.

How do we know it's a 60/40 split? No one involved in negotiations had put a percentage split on it.

Funny how you say FMJ will make less money but his contract guarantees he makes more than Manny no matter who he fights.

According to your post and logic, Manny can't fight a Haymon controlled fighter (Maidana).

FYI..Ruslan is a walking punching bag, but will Bob be willing to risk Manny getting clipped by one of his punches....I doubt it..Expect to see Manny in the ring against a soft spoken and soft hitting fighter.

Since Manny was clipped by JMM; has he been in a fight with any heavy hitter?

Every negotiations, he just seems so unrealistic about it. "Oh yeah, we agreed to everything. Blood test, money etc. We settled everything. Just like that. It's that simple." But we got Espinoza here saying something else. So obviously Arum hasn't settled everything. Let's be honest, we know however many million dollars in any situation being involved in any decision making is never that simple. Floyd may not be saying the things we want him to say and his answers may not be as definite as Arums, but maybe that's because the negotiations are still ongoing and the fight itself is not...definite.

And I don't care who you are, you don't offer 40 million dollars in any situation if you aren't serious about the fight. The 60/40 offer, me and my friends who are also Pacquiao fans agreed that was more that fair. I can't sit here and say the guy who is doing all the offering and making phone calls the one that is scared. I also do know Pacquiao isn't the one that's scared either.
I'm pretty sure that in his years of promoting fights, Bob Arum knows all about how simple or complicated negotiations can get.

I mean, I'm not lying over here right? Even you'd have to admit that's what people are going to say. I'm not being weird here...am I? I think that's kind of a normal response here, right?
If there was a report coming from Floyd saying "I signed the contract" you would see an overwhelming number of people express their pleasure at the fight happening. I don't think there would be many people talking about fake contracts.

The fact is though, Floyd isn't making noise about getting this fight signed. He's making the opposite noises, saying Pacquiao doesn't tell him what to do and that there's no deal and so on.

Convenient way of saying I'm gay as I wanna be.. Like your sig haha

Floyd is turning into that gay sig of yours. He should be a ballerina.

He fought Rios who I think most would agree is a big puncher, or at least was at lower weight classes.

Anyway if Pacquiao isn't fighting Floyd he'll almost certainly take on Amir Khan. I don't think that's a soft touch at all.

Floyd needs proof, like all arguments. There is a collaboration of people talking.

Everyone is pointing at Floyd. It's time for Floyd to speak and make sure he is coherent enough to defend his pussay ways.

If he ain't right show proof, but I doubt he has any.

Then I'll believe him. The thing is, it's obvious who wants it who don't. Not rocket science. The guy knows Pac is his kryptonite.

I'm saying that Manny's side said they have agreed on 60/40... Floyd is on record saying he wanted 2/3rds...60/40 would seem like a reasonable compromise...and Manny's side has agreed to that... I doubt Floyd does..

Floyd making 60% against Manny could turn into $150 million with over 3 mil PPVs and the largest gate... a fight with Cotto is very susceptible to a boycott especially when neither are Mexican and Canelo is fighting on free HBO...

Manny will make less than Floyd of course... but Manny wants the 60/40 split and has agreed to the terms... MGM...USADA..etc...

I never said Haymon wouldn't work with Arum... I said Haymon hasn't worked with any other promoter other than Golden Boy as far as Floyd...

Khan-Pac won't happen because HBO-Showtime... Pac-Maidana is possible and could be Haymon's way of getting back on HBO... Pac-Ruslan has the Brooklyn issue... Pac-Vargas in the U.S. is a tough sell...

Bottom line is that if Floyd would accept none of this other stuff would have to be discussed... Floyd not signing actually probably costed the fans Canelo-Cotto as well...

What are you talking about. Manny was supposed to fight Ruslan last year but Algieri won the fight so Manny fought Algieri. If Manny would have fought Ruslan instead, Manny would have been heavily criticized and saying he ducked a young undefeated lion that moves and boxes well ...... and instead fought the loser.
