Is this yet another distortion on your part of what Abel Sanchez said about the fight not making financial sense until Ward accepts that GGG is more than just the opponent?

How many different meanings are you going to twist out of that one statement of his?

True. And Virgil Hill is Ward's trainer, not his manager or promoter. So why are you trying to use a quote from him like it was a Royal Flush in a game of poker?

He never said that though, did he? He didn't mention GGG when talking about tune-ups. You made that up just like you made up the story about Golovkin's team making contact with him....you shouldn't just make things up, it weakens your credibility.

Uh....not quite. Hunter is just reiterating what Ward has said for a long time - that he will fight Golovkin. He is then reiterating K2's response which was they weren't ready to make the fight.

What he's saying, anyone can say because the quotes from each side are there for public consumption. Go back to post #80 for a full timeline of events since you seem lost.

- GGG's team came out all hyped saying that everyone was ducking him and they'd fight anyone from 154-168.

- Ward said he would fight them.

- Tom Loffler was then forced into a public retraction of the original statement saying that they were "focused on 160" and that Ward didn't make financial sense to them.

- Ward then said "fine, just stop mentioning my name".

No I'm talking about what Tom Loeffler of K2 promotions said. Maybe if I have time I'll post you links of the entire dialogue between both sides.

He wasn't talking about anyone. He was talking about Ward's lay-off and that as his trainer, he'd ideally like him to shake off the rust. He then says Andre himself would be willing to jump straight into a big fight. Golovkin's name wasn't even mentioned at that point.

The last time Andre Ward made a public statement was on Sep 29, 2014 -- the very day when Dan Goossen passed away.
