its a good opponent imo, you guys have no sense of reality, most guys dont want to fight or want big money........hammer is ranked highly on boxrec and seems to have made improvements. he's better than ustinov, pianetta etc.

Everyone one of Fury's fights has been a tune up fight of some sort. He will therefore tune-up himself right into a world title fight.

Hammer is a better opponent then I thought he was going to face coming off a win over Chisora. With a WBO mandatory shot coming I expected someone like Airich or Bakhtov. Hammer isn't a world beater but he has made strides as a fighter the last few years. He's beaten a few journeymen & has a win over Kevin Johnson. I don't think he is much threat to Fury but still should get him some rounds & give Tyson an opportunity to work on a few things. Good tune up fight in my opinion...

He has been carefully matched but he got kind of shafted with the 2 Haye cancellations. That was a 5 million pounds he kissed good bye...

I agree with this. While Pulev was staying busy after his final eliminator he fought Abell and Perkovic, neither anywhere near Hammer's level. Wilder fought that lawn maintenance guy who's name I can't remember now.

It's called bringing a young prospect on properly. He's only had 23 fights, remember.

So, what you are saying is that he should not be a mandatory for Wlad's title and he should fight at least a couple of legit fighters before he does fight him?
