How's a bum like Christian Hammer supposed to prepare you for klitschko? Absolute joke if true.

Peter Fury said they were looking at a good solid top 15 contender. So hoping this is just a rumour. He also said they wanted to fight a 'modern' heavyweight i.e. big.

So Hammer doesn't really suit any of the criteria which makes doubt this rumour very much.
Now Wach is a good enough opponent for Fury?...

fury could beat him using his jab alone just walking circles around him. It would be an easy night work, no problem there i'm telling you.
    LOL

      Sounds like a pro wrestler.
His name is Cristian Ciocan -- In Romanian, "ciocan" literally means "hammer" (in English, German)...

Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury To Face Christian Hammer, 2/28 In London

With the announcement of the February 28 show at London's O2 Arena followed by tickets going on sale, Tyson Fury now has a dance partner to go along with the event. The unbeaten heavyweight contender will face Christian Hammer in the evening's headliner.

Both sides have agreed to all terms, with contracts to be signed after the holiday season. By then, an opponent is also expected to be announced for second-generation middleweight Chris Eubank Jr., who appears in the evening's chief support.

An opponent of any kind is a risk for Fury (23-0, 17KOs), who has in his back pocket a mandatory title challenge versus World heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko. The hulking Brit earned the opportunity following a career-best performance, stopping Dereck Chisora in the 10th round of their highly publicized rematch in November.

“I’ve said all along I’m not like these other fighters in the division who ***** foot around, take soft touches and call themselves fighters,” said Fury. “I could have taken an easy job at the O2 Arena to keep my position safe for my world title fight against Klitschko, but that’s not what Tyson Fury is about or what the public want to see from someone who has promised from day one to win the world heavyweight title.” [Click Here To Read More]

More than credible opponent,it won't be a great fight or hugely entertaining but the match up could have been far worse.

Well I guess it's slightly better than Tor Hamer, right?

Any fans of Fury...you are looking into a crystal ball of what to expect if this bum ever stumbles into a championship belt of some kind somehow.

This is an acceptable tune up considering there is a world title shot coming down the pike for Fury. Good to stay active, especially after being out of the ring for so long.

I don't know **** about this guy outside of him beating Johnson, though. I thought Fury was fighting Christina Hammer for a second.

Fury talked about fighting Haye and he even signed to fight him. But other then that has taken an easy path to a mandatory and I truly hope that one of these fringe contenders beats him and gets it over with.
