Is Canelo going to actually pick a weight class for this fight or are is he going to have his 4th straight catch weight... nobody cares though lol... I forgot things like catch weights are only brought up and looked down upon by Floyd-worshipers against Pacquiao... until Floyd started doing it too then it became acceptable..

Canelo means what he says so Mayweather and him will fight on the same day. Canelo vs Cotto will outsell Mayweather vs Khan in my opinion. Cotto and Canelo are aggressive, hard hitting exciting fighters and that fight will be a blood and guts war. Khan-Mayweather will probably be a one sided boxing match that ends with Khan getting KOed when Mayweather hits him with some good strait rights to his weak chin. Alexander could easily upset Khan and then I have no idea who Mayweather would fight in May be I doubt it would be Alexander. I think a box office showdown between Canelo and Mayhweather would be good for boxing. It would show Mayweather and his team that they are not the kings of the boxing world.Comment

The push comes from HBO. I dont think Cotto is going to backstab HBO, Bob Arum, Freddy roach, and manny pac and fight mayweather. Everyone is joined to ruin maywethaer, HBO, bob arum, de la hoya, canelo, freddy roach, manny pac, and cotto.Comment

Canelo's ego is tiny compared to Mayweather's ego. Canelo seems like the guy who will be fighting Cotto in May and I can't think of anybody Mayweather will fight that would out sell Canelo-Cotto. Cotto is the key and whoever Cotto fights will no doubt win the pfv selling contest.Comment

^^^^^^^^^^That's not an encouraging headline for Canelo. If he isn't fighting Cotto, Pacquiao, or Golovkin on that date, he'll be on regular HBO that night for the sole purpose of driving away PPV buys from Showtime. From a badass to a pawn.
I don't have a problem with Canelo, but his ego has grown exponentially for seemingly no reason. This guy hasn't earned a damn thing in boxing. He's been handed everything. Now he thinks he can keep taking things he hasn't earned. He's in for a rude awakening. If Mayweather-Pacquiao doesn't go down, I hope Mayweather-Cotto II does. So we can all laugh at that tough guy Canelo.
