Of course not, Canelo's demanding 50/50. He's literally pricing himself out.

There are people on here who actually think he should get that or even more. He also isn't pricing himself out, he wants to choose the date and the venue as well and then has the nerve to say Cotto is being the difficult one. Hopefully it's just part of the negotiations, May is still a long ways away.


It's probably going to end up 60/40 in Cotto's favor at Canelo's desired location. Cotto's beer sponsor Tecate will probably be used in this fight too.


They still have a couple more months to negotiate so I guess we'll see.

He won't move to 160 because Triple G is there obviously... But Canelo fans keep saying BS like... "Canelo hasn't shown he's ducked anyone, so I don't think he'll duck Triple G"... Canelo doesn't seem to realize that after Floyd schooled him.. his value went down... he thinks because he did better numbers with Floyd he's the bigger star.. but he lost his luster after he was exposed...

I don't see how Canelo beats Cotto unless he KOs Cotto... he can't fight 3 minutes of every round.. he has serious stamina issues... Lara did him a favor by running the whole fight...

He'll still fight on regular HBO on Cinco De Mayo weekend even if the Cotto PPV falls through.

Not neccisarily. Its not up to Canelo or Oscar. They cant make HBO do anything. If they want to put on a fight the same day as a Mayweather PPV, they will have very low viewer rates, the sponsors may not like that and HBO may not want to run it on that day.
