If canelo doesnt fight Cotto he will lose date...fighting GGG wouldnt even save that date from Floyd..So he better compromise With Cotto. Only fight big enough to keep that date is VS. Manny aint thats not possible

Oscar and Canelo seem JEALOUS. How many times have they did a interview saying this on here. At least 8times. I guess if you say it enough you start to believe it yourself. Floyd still haven't really mentioned them. They baiting Floyd for a response. Then everybody gone be hating on Floyd after he responds. Oscar is a female he comes off bitter, scorned, and jealous. Since Oscar is so PRO Mexican now how about he take his ALL Hispanic staff( says a lot about his character, even Floyd has a diverse staff) and fight somewhere else besides America. Do you hear Floyd coming out EVERY week telling Canelo to go back to Mexico? NO, because everyone would complain that he's a racist.

Canelo only fought on Cinco de Mayo twice in his whole career and both times on the undercard of Mayweather. Canelo better sits down and let Mayweather finish this year and then he could take over next year. He better listen to his daddy Mayweather. If not he will give him another boxing lesson.

They don't need each other, if they did why is Floyd in talks with Cotto? Canelo is the one that needs Cotto it is not the other way around. Not to mention the PPV buys are nowhere near similar. All Lara did was have a bigger buyrate against Floyd, then proceeded to lose every round. Just because you get a lot of buys doesn't mean anything if you look like a ****ing clown in there. That didn't raise Canelo's stock, it lowered it. Aside from that Cotto did more buys Martinez than Canelo did with Lara or Trout.

They are banned together to ruin Floyd? Cotto beating Floyd does more to ruin Floyd than having a competing PPV.

I agree. They trend to say that Cotto is a diva but Canelo seems to have a much larger, overinflated ego.

He needs Cotto more than Cotto needs him. Cotto rematching Floyd and a chance of beating him is 1000% more important for Cotto than all the money that a Canelo fight could bring.

He will make comparable money vs Floyd and if (only if) he were to beat FMJr. the $$$ on a 3rd fight will be astronomical for Cotto not to mention opening the doors of him becoming a top 100 ATG!

I can't wait to see how this unfolds. Canelo is talking this **** now, but what happens if Mayweather can make a better match-up and/or has the better under-card? It's already been said that the cable operators are unlikely to allow two boxing PPVs on the same night, so will Canelo fight on regular HBO if they side with Floyd?
