You can't say Floyd. You can't say Timothy Bradley (death threats after the Arum/Pacquiao-approved judges scored the fight in his direction). You can't say Andre Ward (wanting to be his own man seems to be frowned upon). You can't say Adonis Stevenson (ty Al Haymon; "ducker"). You can't say Deontay Wilder (ty Al Haymon; "does nothing but beat on bums". You can't say Keith Thurman (ty Al Haymon; "wrecking his career" by not taking Roc Nation's money). You can't even really say Bernard Hopkins (was loath by most online communities until about when he turned 45; at that point, most folks were just resigned to watching the "old man" keep finding ways to win.

Your opinion of Paulie Malignaggi is your own opinion; no one likes everyone. Stiil, Paulie Malignaggi doesn't represent the entirety of Italian boxers.

I will admit it's sometimes fun to watch Floyd... outside of the ring... fumbling interviews and generally making a bigger @ss of himself with every word that comes out of his mouth. It's hilarious $h!t

For that, I will be grateful... hours of pure entertainment (the Mayweathers constantly embarassing themselves) will forever be on the internet and be enjoyed by millions for years to come, it will certainly be more enjoyable than any of his fights

The key to understanding them is they basically want Pac, the world's superstar of boxing, the guy who resurrected boxing when TBE retired at a young age to avoid tough prime fighters, to bow down to their undeserving hero. This is business. In all movies/books/tv series/sports you need a good humble hero and a bad villain *******. Floyd used to be a good guy back in the time, he was really respectful with the interviewer and everybody. Since the Gatti fight he changed to play the villain and became a superstar. After that I think he stopped playing the villain and actually became one.

On the other side Pac has been portrayed as the hero and people all fall for it, for example after the Hatton fight you can see the guy from HBO telling him to get on his knee and pray so the camera can film him, thus creating that image of the good guy who believes in god.

It's just business, it has always been like this and people all fall for it.

Everything you stated can be said about the knuckle-headed forum **** here on NSB -- Especially the bold\underlined. And in many cases when people appear to defend Floyd and others - We're really trying to expose the hypocrisy and undercover racism, masquerading as boxer hate. Finalizing my statements, many here criticize Floyd and others from a lofty position that in reality, doesn't exist and never will. You life is no better, your family is no better and more importantly, your family is less well-off than many of those you fault. And speaking of fault, no one is pure, unblemished and free from the stains of human debauchery evolving from a demoralized society. In fact, the same guys that play the holier than thou card, are probably one stone's throw away from being trailer trash ...... Hence the hate for those who are different and doing extremely well.

The inter-web, may offer anonymity of person, but the www can never hide the lack of character and scruples displayed by internet trolls, who wallow and sulk in the filth of their real lives.

This post is not about defending a famous person, its about exposing the real, in the midst of abundant illusion.

I think the difference lies between a satirical perspective on boxing that many NSB accounts take and a guy who literally ****in believes he's "TBE". Although who am I to call Floyd out on his pretentious, in your face lifestyle, that pampers and supports his every ignorant and selfish action.

But honestly at the end of day I don't think anyone here hates anyone. Who doesn't like the Pac-Mayweather bickering? It's great for boxing, and my hopes and predictions with all the bull aside is we will finally get to see the fight of the ages this May, because Floyd for once will not get his way and be forced to fight him to preserve his legacy.
