In fact, if he was any other race/color/whatever he would probably get EVEN MORE hate, as much as I'd hate to say it, much of his type of behaviour gets a "pass" simply because he is black and it's pretty much expected, but obviously the guy is an idiot and crosses the line on far too many occasions.
Manny Pacquiao, the man in your sig, has as many character *****, if not more, than Mayweather, yet the way this site tells it, you would think that he was a saintly man.

Oscar De La Hoya is a miserable wreck of a human being, yet you here no negatives in regards to what he does.

Opinions are relative, but when similar facts among individuals derive drastically different reactions, the rational person will take pause and observe.

You can't say Floyd. You can't say Timothy Bradley (death threats after the Arum/Pacquiao-approved judges scored the fight in his direction). You can't say Andre Ward (wanting to be his own man seems to be frowned upon). You can't say Adonis Stevenson (ty Al Haymon; "ducker"). You can't say Deontay Wilder (ty Al Haymon; "does nothing but beat on bums". You can't say Keith Thurman (ty Al Haymon; "wrecking his career" by not taking Roc Nation's money). You can't even really say Bernard Hopkins (was loath by most online communities until about when he turned 45; at that point, most folks were just resigned to watching the "old man" keep finding ways to win.

Your opinion of Paulie Malignaggi is your own opinion; no one likes everyone. Stiil, Paulie Malignaggi doesn't represent the entirety of Italian boxers.
Some of those are true and some are bullsiht. Bradley definitely gets overall positive positive praise, the one knock on him has been that he tried to say he won a fight he clearly lost. You can't judge his overall praise by a few psychopaths who are crazy enough to threaten a man's life over a fight. Andre Ward was heavily praised (and my #1 favorite fighter) coming out of the super six and then beating Dawson. That was two years ago and he's done nothing since. I stopped being a fan of his and it has nothing to do with him being black, it has to do with him essentially not being a fighter anymore. It's been a year since he fought and 2 years since he fought a meaningful fight. Stevenson brought the hate on himself. He wasn't hated until he backed out of the fight all the fans want to see, I don't see why he shouldn't deserve hate for that. Deontay doesn't get much hate, saying that he has only beat bums is about as factual as can be. Other than Malik Scott who most believe took a dive he hasn't fought a top 50 guy. He doesn't get much flak as a fighter, if he beats some guys he'll get some more respect. Keith Thurman gets very positive praise overall. People saying Haymon is ruining his career is a knock on Haymon and a compliment for Thurman. They wouldn't say his career is being ruined if they believe he can have a great career. B-hop had an underrated career for a long time, I'll admit to that but he has gotten all of the praise in the world since about 2000. Like you said, everyone has their own opinion on people. Not everyone is going to like somebody. Just bc some people don't like these guys doesn't mean they are "overall" unliked.

But honestly at the end of day I don't think anyone here hates anyone. Who doesn't like the Pac-Mayweather bickering? It's great for boxing, and my hopes and predictions with all the bull aside is we will finally get to see the fight of the ages this May, because Floyd for once will not get his way and be forced to fight him to preserve his legacy.

And I completely agree, that many of the nonsensical back and forth needs to be resolved. But the only way that happens is if the mega-fight gets signed and may the best man win. Until and if ... the forum will continue to be plagued by these so-called satirical comments and threads, which ultimately detract from the real reason, we're all here for in the first place ...... Boxing!

Because most users here are females and judge FIGHTERS based on things that have nothing to do with what they do in the ring. Basing your fighters on "how they make me feel" instead of "what they do in the ring" is a female trait.

Oh yea and a straight forward answer to the OP. Floyd accepted and brought forth his dark side "alter ego" like 8-10 years ago saying that boxing is entertainment and he know's what the fans want. And what they want is conflicting ideologies or personalities and styles. Most guys back then and this day in age don't have the ppv numbers and the b@lls to look the boxing media in the face and say **** you. Which is basically made Floyd much more infatuating and entertaining. An unfiltered and unbiased boxing personality. That's what the die hard fans always want. And now we see the same stale fake cheesey ego Floyd has put on through the years, but eerily it seems that he has become one with it. Now all we hear from Floyd is biased, filtered jargon that we now understand as talking points from Al Haymon. These talking points are always have an out for questions regarding Pacquiao. And that pisses me off.

Im a very big fan of Floyd the boxer. There is no denying his skills in the ring. Most casual fans do not like how he fights because its not exciting to them but for me its different. Im not a hardcore boxing fan, i dont watch all the fights but i do enjoy watching floyd box. Aside from his boxing skills there really isnt much to like about him as a person based on what I hear and read about him on the news (obviously i dont know him personally). Its understandable how he gets so much hate due to all those negative things we hear about him.

What puzzles me is aside from being related or employed or somehow benefit financially from Floyd, why would you defend him and his antics? Almost all the news we hear from Floyd are negative, so I think the better question is: why defend a PERSON like Floyd?
