Mayweather signed 6 fight 250 million dollar contract.
That's 42 million per fight. 42 Million as Floyd's cut alone. Not counting promotion, marketing, airtime and the other fighter's purse.

Floyd may not have exceeded expectations-but no one else is even close. As for kicking him to the curb-the man has still sold about 4.5 mil ppv's in 4 fights. No other boxer has come anywhere close to that in the last 2 years.
I get you want Floyd to fail and don't prefer to trumpet any success he may have, but dam BOA at least let the facts drive your opinion.
That screams incompetence from Espinoza and they know he can't get the job done. Anytime there is an issue in a company where someone that high up has to get involved there is a problem, you think he wants to deal with two diva's about a sport no one really watches? He's got more important things to worry about like TV shows, advertisers, NFL and who knows what else.
I don't even want to see Floyd fail, I want to see him fight people and guess what... when he fights someone who is actually a threat I buy it. Not to see Floyd lose, I just want to see him tested. His lack of balls offend me, I've never even been offended at anything he's said or done (minus beating his wifes.) I seriously couldn't imagine a sport where the best players didn't want to test themselves and that's the definition of Floyd's career nearly. It's like LeBron saying "I don't want to play Jordan, I might lose. I mean... I will win, but I just don't want to lose." That as an athlete is offensive, hell, as a man it's ****ing offensive.

So to you, an outdoor stadium is completely imaginary?

I'm sure CBS was fine with him having a bad buy rate with Guerrero since he made up for it with Canelo, which bought him a crap rate with Maidana. Since he didn't look good they had to make the rematch, you are truly delusional if you think a BILLIONAIRE(S) who own CBS are going to let Floyd run anything.
Floyd has his daddies at Showtime and CBS that are paying Floyd now because Floyd left Oscar. When he did that he had nobody but CBS left to front the bill for his purse, he doesn't want to fight Manny but CBS is the one with the final say I bet. I still think he'll fight Cotto first just to avoid the Manny fight as much as possible but if whoever owns CBS says Floyd fights Manny or his contract is void, he'll fight Manny.Originally posted by megadeth View PostArum is talking to Les Moonves, who isn't a Billionaire. Floyd is possibly worth as much or more than he is.Originally posted by Beater_of_ass View PostYou are telling me to be humble when you said "Who is this guy, he makes less than Floyd." So according to you, if your boss makes less money then you shouldn't respect or appreciate what they do? Such humility, you're just mad that I'm clowning on you and have nothing to say back.
I don't need to say "who is this guy?", I know EXACTLY who Les Moonves is. I wasn't making Floyd to be something special, I was correcting you because u were insinuating that he was a Billionare and his Billionaire clout would stop Floyd from being allowed to run anything. So it was a simple correction and advising u that Floyd is worth as much or more. THAT'S IT!!! For some reason, that seemed to hurt your feelings. From there it was insults about working at Mcdonalds and selling weed, when u don't know anything about me. So where was I being arrogant? I'm not mad at all and I have lots to say back. The whole problem is that you didn't comprehend my post, spoke b4 u knew the facts and insulted me. That's where ur not being humble. Whatever...u do u! Me, I know how to admit when I'm wrong.

$75 a piece at 1 million buys is 75 million. Instantly that gets cut in half for cable and we're at 32.5 million, and we just barely paid Floyd's purse MINIMUM. It's obvious he needs 1 million because he went to Showtime with PPV's buys with Oscar, Cotto, Marquez and Hatton... all of them were over a million. So he went to Showtime with that being his floor in terms of drawing power. He only went over that mark 1 time since moving to Showtime.

Secondly, they know a Floyd-PAC fight will be a huge money fight, so they've always held onto the hopes of doing it or something similar to Floyd-Canelo.
Yes, they know Floyd-pac will do big and they know they have the only boxer to sell more than 2 mil ppv's twice. You don't just let the biggest draw go.
