Dood, they put that information on the morning news. I'm not a genius, it's just small random **** that gets reported. I don't know the details of a super bowl ad but a lot of people new it was 1 million dollars for 30 seconds like 15 years ago. It was a insane to think of a commercial costing that much money... Seriously this mental genius you speak of is just a local morning broadcast while I get ready for work not some college degree hidden information. I apologize I offended you with my superior TV watching and listening skills.

Quit it with all of this "CBS/Showtime is losing money with Floyd" nonsense.
+800k PPV buys vs. Guerrero
+2m PPV buys vs. Alvarez
+900k PPV buys vs Maidana 1
+900k PPV buys vs Maidana 2
When all the numbers are finally counted, Floyd's PPV buys total for Showtime/CBS is likely 5m PPV buys, with 2 more fights to go and $200m already brought in by Floyd (CBS/Showtime seems to be fronting the cost for the PPV event, with Floyd getting his guarantee after the fight and a share of any upside as the numbers come in).
And that's not even counting the 5m-7m more homes that are subscribers to Showtime now that weren't subscribers before Mayweather came into the fold (at $10-$15 per month, Showtime/CBS is bringing in an additional $700m in revenue).
You add in even the spectacle of a Mayweather-Khan fight (UK money coming in), or even a rematch with Cotto or Alvarez and Floyd would've brought in well north of $250m on just PPV alone. lolComment

By side I meant being a Cotto fan. Boxing is about race papi, you have Big Pun and a PR flag right there in your sig. The race of the fighters affects the draw and location that's all I was bringing up. You are seriously in here defending Bob Arum about a temporary stadium that was never built 3 years ago. I basically said you have to be kidding and then you call me racist... because I said black. Fl*mo and Pact*rd levels of dumb right there, where is Fantasic when you need him?No I just see the bs that you spew out at times. You stated to me to mention a fight with that much attendance. I gave you an answer, chavez sr and his mexico attendance of over 100k. Then you say, "two black americans". So yes, you ARE bringing race into it. You just didn't like the fact that I gave you a legit answer, and you had to twist it to fit your point of view. Dont think so? Go back and reread.
Same "side" as me??? HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Man don't try to cop out now. Why are you talking about Super Bowl ads? How many of these Mayweather fights had Super Bowl ads? Tell me.Dood, they put that information on the morning news. Why would you need to subscribe to Showtime to watch Floyd fight when you have to pay for it on PPV and don't need it Showtime to do that?Quit it with all of this "CBS/Showtime is losing money with Floyd" nonsense.

How am I coping out? I tell you some local TV news information and you come at me like I'm talking rocket science. And there is your classic swerve question to change the subject about Super Bowl ads and having one. I never said that, but it's a comparison to what Floyd would pay which is why I gave an estimate. Besides you've changed topics from arguing over what Showtime is or isn't making into turning an example (to relate to the situation) and take it off topic. Get back to work.Comment

No, you pointed out that they have to pay for ads which get expensive. You cited the Super Bowl, which is hundreds of times more expensive than the average ad. Further, most of their ads are aired by the PPV carrier, Showtime and the parent network. The carrier sees their money on the back end. And Showtime and CBS aren't charging. So you're just talking out of your ass. There is no way sales need to hit 1m in order for them to break even. No CEO is signing off on that budget, even if they want to get back into boxing (like they really give a **** that much). Just shut up, man. You tried running BS and got caught out there. Go hide with that Righteous dude. How am I coping out? I tell you some local TV news information and you come at me like I'm talking rocket science.
