Gennady seems like a great guy, but Sanchez comes across as a very unlikeable person.

He's Freddie Roach mk.II, just inviting bad karma and schadenfreude when things go wrong. Pac and GGG seem nice guys, their mouthy trainers do them a disservice.

What we have here is a breakdown of communication. I didn't say Kov did have to move down, could or should move down. What I said was when the first words out of your promoters mouth are only at 175 no CW that would be b*tch ****. If you can't understand that then there is no point in continuing this conversation.

Any CW in this case would be something below 175, and Kovalev wouldn't be able to do it. That's all Duva was saying.

So has fighters moving up through the weights. That's why there are weight classes. Catchweights are a joke so for you to say that it's "b*tch ****" not to fight at a catchweight instead of criticising the fighter who refuses to move up to the full weight class just shows how backwards the thinking has become.

No one dismissed anything. Kovalev is far too big to be moving down in weight so if anyone wants to fight him, they had to come to his weight class. It's that simple and it's in no way a b1tch move.

I'm not even mad, the fight will never happen because GGG would lose and HBO won't let that happen. So we'll see Froch vs Kovalev hopefully, so I could care less about GGG moving up 2 divisions. I think he'd win but he'd had a hard enough time with Ward.

What the hell else was Katy Duva supposed to say? Kovalev came in at like 188lbs on fight night. Why on earth would she have her fighter move down in weight? It's not like Kovalev has some great need to fight GGG. He got his big win over Hopkins and has 3 belts. He doesn't need to be chasing some middleweight. If Golokvin wants the fight, do what all great fighters do and MOVE UP.
