Any great fighter can adapt to any style and find a way to win.

I said before the Kovalev fight that Hopkins would challenge GGG next, win or lose. I also said that GGG will not fight Hopkins under any circumstances and I stick by that statement. GGG's team is not ****** enough to risk putting him in the ring with Hopkins for various reasons. One, they know that GGG might lose and they don't want to risk it. Two, they know that, virtually every time Hopkins has a bad performance and looks like he is finished, he always comes back in his next fight with a great performance. GGG's team won't take a risk on GGG being Hopkins comeback victim.

GGG will continue to fight stiffs until the boxing fans stop buying his BS and demand that he get in the ring with a quality opponent. At that point, he will be exposed and probably KO'd.
    No, no aaannnddd no.

GGG's trainer is going to turn a lot of people off of him. He's a lot like Roach with Manny. Just constantly **** talking every time he opens his mouth. Shame.

Abel trying his hand at fight promoter? Didn't I read somewhere the 2 sparred and it was pretty much even? Anyway, I see a bit more hype in GGG and I see no hype in Kov. But hey, the point is moot Abel. Your guy won't move up and Kov can't move down. No sense making a claim that can probably never be proven.

I like what Abel is doing in his interviews and comments. The way he talks about potential opponents, he is basically trying to "shame them into fights".
Golovkin and his promoter Tom Loeffler are too much respectful towards others and sometimes are on the verge of being shy talking about desired opponents. Thanks god, they have Abel in their team, who makes it difficult for others to continue to duck GGG with a straight face.
As for Kovalev, I guess Abel has his own reasons not to think highly of him. There were personality clashes between two of them.

I'm just glad we have a Middleweight AND a light heavyweight killer fighting at the same time. Both of these guys are awesome to watch. A doubleheader with the two on the same card would be choice.

To be fair to GG, I believe he would have beaten Hop the same way Kovalev did, even at a lighter weight. At this point Kovalev does have the better resume though with that win

Both are good boxers, but not great boxers, they are comparable by level, but have different styles and similar strengths, it would be a great fight, and Kovalev is a lion, but GGG would UD him in a bloodbath if they don't throw the towel.

Froch: "Just swerve Golovkin like the plague. He punches like a mule. I don’t need to be in with him. Dangerous fight."

Froch clarifies the above lol: "It was tongue in cheek back then. I was being a bit cheeky and you can take those comments with a pinch of salt. What I will say though is this guy can ****ing punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him"

Dominating Hopkins is more impressive than anything GGG has done by far, and I'm a big fan of Gennady and Sergey. Abel talks about kov too much imo
