I think it's safe to say, Mayweather has probably the best defence in boxing history

Since Floyd became a megastar with the ODLH fight, he has the best resume in boxing. I keep asking people to name 5 fighters who can make that claim. Only person who is even close to being arguable is probably Pacquiao.

Floyd didn't do as much time as Diego was preparing for. Also, did Floyd come in severely weight drained? Like it or not, it all took a toll on Corrales.
Facts are facts are facts.

Diego came back down because he had the opportunity to fight for a title, just like with Floyd.
Between Casamayor and Floyd, Diego was knocked down 8 times!!! That is what you call a beast? Not that version of Diego.
Diego is a tall guy for those weight divisions. He thought he can hang their and impose his size. It eventually caught up to him. Diego had the same weight issues when he moved up.
Most importantly is that we are discussing Floyd vs Diego, right? Well, in that fight, it was well documented that Corrales was severely weight drained .... So it doesn't matter what happened before or after.
You Floyd fans should stick with the facts. Even prior to the fight, it was stated that Floyd took advantage of the situation.
Corrales was sapped of energy ... came in 2lbs over at weigh in.
Corrales' lethargic appearance might have been because he was sapped of strength before the fight ever started. He weighed in two pounds over the 130-pound limit on Friday and was forced to sweat the extra baggage in a 90-minute sauna session.

If a fighter is NOT at his best, you can only credit the opponent so much. Floyd gets credit for the win BUT unless you are dense, you need to factor in everything and I mean EVERYTHING!!! Still didn't get it? Hard to understand?Geez!
Now to make it even clearer for you, you and some other Floyd fans are saying that Diego was a beast and so on so Floyd deserves huge credit for that win. Also that it was one of Floyd's biggest wins.
Well, if this is what Floyd fans say then we need to discuss Diego and which Diego showed up at the time. If Diego was severely weight drained, that needs to be factored in. It is NOT an excuse but a FACT! Again, if you want to analyze truthfully and accurately then you must do it with all the facts not only those that support your heroes case!
Diego went on the scales 2lbs overweight and instead of rehydrating himself he had to drain himself for another 90 minutes. It's so, so easy to understand! Geez!

I'm guessing u have never seen a corrales fight prior to Floyd fighting him. Same for Castillo in the 2nd fight. And once again as stated above that a very small selection of fights to choose from. Every defensive great u can name had hard fights. And most of them were knocked out. Not styrene what u are arguing because it simply doesn't make sense.
Your confusion is understandable because its hard to create a criteria to address the pure defensive ability of a fighter.
