I am a big GGG fan but how come nobody from the media asked for Ward?

if he were andre buckland, from the shire, you'd have a freaking poster up on your wall.
lol well he would be Andrew Buckland in that case, but I'd watch Carl Froch over him any time, Brit or no Brit - and so would you truth be told.

lol please, they fight in the same month but you want to compare the ratings where they fight 10 months apart.

Look man, the fact Ward hasn't fought since last November tells its own story. He's about to lose his SMW and PFP rankings through inactivity.

If boxing fans wanted to see this fight, you wouldn't even have to make threads like this because the demand would already be there.

i love carl froch, bro. people never believe me when i say that

i saw froch fight jermain taylor in connecticut. he made me a lifelong fan. i've still never been in a building with an atmosphere like that 12th round. people were SCREAMING. a member of jermain's camp sat next to me for the 12th round. he had a speech impediment,a nd was yelling for taylor to throw "combinachuns."

        "combinachuns, jermain! combinachuns!"

        i'll never forget it.

Well Ward is not doing **** and it doesn't seem like his Promotion cares about him anymore after he tried to sue them multiple times

True he's still 10 times more marketable than Rubio, Geale, Stevens, Macklin and Rosado.

So that;s a good reason for GGG not to fight him I guess.

Andre Ward was a light heavyweight in the amateurs 10 years ago.

he gets on a treadmill and sweats down to make 160, and limits his eating throughout camp.
              Still a relatively tiny MW.

now, in terms of the tactical domination, where a superior fighter recuced another to wandering around the ring and eating counterpunches, i agree with you.
No argument from here that Ward is the superior tactician. Add in the size and experience advantages and the outcome becomes too obvious for the fight to be attractive.

              easy work.
Maybe not quite as easy as you think, but a clear Ward win nonetheless.

Oh yeah like we wanted to see him against Rubio, I get it, Andre Ward is below Adama as far as popularity.

                  Just today: http://www.boxingnews24.com/2014/10/lampley-andre-ward-wants-golovkin-fight/

... "HBO commentator Jim Lampley says he was contacted by the lawyer for WBA Super middleweight champion Andre Ward (27-0, 14 KOs) who told him that Ward is willing to fight WBA Super World middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28 KOs) for a fight." ... "Presumably, Golovkin would have to move up to super middleweight to face Ward at either a catch-weight or at the full weight in order for the fight to happen."
... I forgot: this Ward's "lawyer" isn't he our long time friend Dwyer? Just asking...

Wasn't the outcome too obvious for last night's fight? How about a possible Martin Murray fight, is that really attractive to you? Because I don't see it being competitive at all.

I thought Max did an alright job of bringing Ward's name into the picture.
