I am a big GGG fan but how come nobody from the media asked for Ward?

Yes. This is the best point. Dont understand why so many people are calling for GGG to fight Ward. He has business at 160, not only would he make more money fighting Cotto but it is a much easier, but still exciting fight. As far as him calling out Chaves Jr, again it is about money, for some reason Jr is a big draw. Probably Ward would price himself out of negotiations even if the fight were on the table, keeping in mind GGG is the bigger draw, cant see this fight happening.

He almost got a Chavez fight this year, and would have if not for Bob Arum ****ery. Alvarez only became a possibility in the last month or so, and the ginger has said he would fight Golovkin. Golovkin's win last night made him the mandatory to Cotto's belt, which might end up being Alvarez's if Alvarez beats Cotto. How exactly are they pipe dreams, and how exactly have they been so for a year when none of them were a possibility until 4 or 5 months ago?

Is this really what you're going to do? Make stuff up?
How long did it take to fight Martinez and Quilin? Exactly!
Do you think you'll ever see Cotto in with GGG? Exactly!
Everybody mentions Chavez - Froch, Canelo, Ward, Canelo and he already turned down 7 mill to fight GGG. You think Chavez will fight GGG at 168? Exactly!

See everybody's got excuses as to why they won't fight GGG. One man doesn't have excuses and that man is Andre Ward.

GGG's team and fans though have too many excuses for why this fight shouldn't happen.

Ward has promoter issues, so does Chavez
Ward is 8 pounds heavier, so is Chavez
      Ward is elite, Chavez isn't
Ward can make weight, Chavez can't
Ward has all the titles, Chavez doesn't
Ward is the 2nd best p4p fighter, Chavez though...
GGG would've made 2 mill against Chavez had the fight materialized, you don't think he would've made the same against Ward
Murray has visa problems, Ward doesn't
Froch doesn't believe he can pay per view money with GGG, Ward is not looking for a pay per view
GGG would fight anybody from 154 to 168, he won't fight Ward
GGG's team is looking for somebody that would test him, he fights people who can't test him and his team comes up with excuses why Ward is not a fight they are looking forward to.

Ward is retired and even if he was fighting, he will be so difficult to negotiate with that the fight only have like a 7% chance of actually getting made. Plus if 1.9 million wasnt enough for ward (suing goosen promotion) to face bum ass Rodriquez imagine how much $$$$ he will demand for a GGG fight. HBO and everyone involved that fight doesn't have a realistic shot at being made.

Do you actually believe Cotto will fight him even at 157?

Another BS excuse. Ward can make fights Froch, Kessler, Abraham and Dawson but can't make a fight against GGG and all of those guys make big money.

              No.

GGG might lose in Oakland though, Ward might get him with an intentional head butt and the crooked ref would call it a TKO.

              I'm 100% behind a Ward-GGG fight at 160 with a HONEST referee.

I personally don't want to see this fight just because I believe Ward's jab, intelligence and grappling style will probably offset GGG's rhythm and we'll see a one-sided fight or maybe Gennady will find success with his jab the way Arthur did in the first few rounds against Andre.

I love GGG, not a huge fan of Ward although I put him up there with Floyd and Rigo as the best technician in boxing. I just think that if you don't want to face Ward just say it.

Even Tom Loeffer was saying that it's easy to make fights for GGG because they don't look for excuses yet when Ward's name comes up there is an excuse. So what is it?
... You ask: ... how come nobody from the media asked for Ward?

                Just today: http://www.boxingnews24.com/2014/10/lampley-andre-ward-wants-golovkin-fight/

... "HBO commentator Jim Lampley says he was contacted by the lawyer for WBA Super middleweight champion Andre Ward (27-0, 14 KOs) who told him that Ward is willing to fight WBA Super World middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28 KOs) for a fight." ... "Presumably, Golovkin would have to move up to super middleweight to face Ward at either a catch-weight or at the full weight in order for the fight to happen."

The negotiations haven't even started yet. I wouldn't want the fight to take place in Oakland, however, whether the fight takes place at 160 and 168 shouldn't be an obstacle if GGG can go up to face Chavez at 168 who punches harder than Ward.

No? Rodriguez made $1m and that was with Haymon screwing the fcuk out of them.

Anyhow, all these questions about Ward were addressed the last time Golovkin fought. They're not interested, and while Ward claims through his lawyer he can fight, he remains on the sidelines, presumably for good reason.

I doubt HBO wants the fight either to be honest, why risk a global potential star getting hugged to death in a boring Oakland UD.
