I am a big GGG fan but how come nobody from the media asked for Ward?

GGG is good for boxing. Ward isn't. He's a good guy and a good fighter but his style is boring. People are forgetting about him. GGG is looking at the Cotto Canelo winner. **** Ward! He's not even fighting.

He did but he should've done it when he was interviewing GGG.

Last time, Ward wanted Sartison as a comeback fight -- HBO didn't allow him.
This time, Ward will also need a tune-up. I wonder who is supposed to be?

Ward is far too inactive, both inside and outside of the ring (social media & interviews) to even be bothered with. He should not even be mentioned until he legal troubles are sorted out, and when they are, he should then get his career back on track by sending out contracts to fighters like GGG, instead of waiting for people to come for him.

So that;s a good reason for GGG not to fight him I guess.
Those guys were available to fight, not busy suing/being counter-sued by his promoter.

One fight in 25 months, three lawsuits(?) in that same time frame.

It's either because JCC is a much bigger money fight or GGG is ducking. There lies the heart of thousands of debates and arguments on Boxing Scene and unless or until those two fight, it would be fruitless for people to argue who is making the right business decisions or simply ducking. I don't think either Ward or GGG are ducking but some people will give themselves heart attacks and argue for near eternity that one guy is ducking and then end up looking like fools when the fight gets made.

How many people accused Garcia of ducking Matthysee or Donaire against Rigo and Walters or even Floyd who many, many said was ducking Canelo. Countless others.

Now, as to the main subject, some people think Ward's name is not in the mix because he is in limbo with the loss of his manager. Or, they don't see it as exciting as a Canelo fight, or it is just coincidence that Ward's name didnt come up, who knows. I would have the same interest in GGG vs Ward as I would vs JCC or Canelo. But there are many who would prefer the barnburner type fights against JCC or Canelo instead. To each his own.

Let's be honest, even if Ward was active they would still find an excuse to not want that fight.

                      Otherwise, he'll stay at 160.
You never seem to make this case when it comes to Floyd. Interesting.
