I am a big GGG fan but how come nobody from the media asked for Ward?

If he's willing to go up to 168 to face Chavez , why not Ward?

I personally don't want to see this fight just because I believe Ward's jab, intelligence and grappling style will probably offset GGG's rhythm and we'll see a one-sided fight or maybe Gennady will find success with his jab the way Arthur did in the first few rounds against Andre.

I love GGG, not a huge fan of Ward although I put him up there with Floyd and Rigo as the best technician in boxing. I just think that if you don't want to face Ward just say it.

Even Tom Loeffer was saying that it's easy to make fights for GGG because they don't look for excuses yet when Ward's name comes up there is an excuse. So what is it?

    Ward isn't fighting.

He's sitting on the sideline and having legal battles with his promotional team...He's fought once in what, 18 months?

Golovkin is fighting and people are enjoying it. Ward is sitting, and people are forgetting he even exists.

Ward is in a different weight division. Ward is not a popular fighter and the fight wouldn't make much money.

Golovkin will move up in weight only for a financially rewarding fight with someone like Chavez or for Froch in the UK.

      Otherwise, he'll stay at 160.

If Ward wants the fight that bad and Golovkin isn't reaching out, then he can make the offer. Make contact, make an offer, see what Golovkin's management says. If he's so readily available to fight, that shouldn't be an issue, right?

Anyone can sit around at home and say they want to fight someone. Wake me up when Ward is actually making offers to fighters.

Mainly, because of a pretty significant 8lb weight difference and you know stubborn ass Ward ain't coming down, and I don't think Golovkin is gonna move up 8-lbs to chase Ward. Especially when two possibly mega-money fights are brewing with Cotto and/or Canelo.

He'll still make more than he did against Rubio.

Okay cool but he was willing to fight Chavez at 168 and Chavez is a bigger puncher than Ward.

ward's a garbage fighter who clinches nonstop. fighters like this need to be blacklisted out of boxing. they don't deserve fights if they are going to hold and cheat nonstop. fans don't want to see that sh-it. he only drew 4000 people last fight in his home state. ggg just did 9000. i wonder why? cause one guy is boring and cheats and the other guy actually fights. since the refs in boxing are completely incompetent and easily bought its up to the networks to drop these guys for the sake of the sport. sorry ward this is box.

Bernard, Floyd and Wlad are just as bad but nobody's blacklisted them.
                    Excuses though...
