Some of your response has nut Huggery in it. I broke this down years ago. Arum doesn't want PAC to fight Floyd for a few reasons he would earn more money without Floyd, if PAC fought Floyd and lost arum loses a cash cow. He also had no confidence in PAC so why take a gamble he is protecting his cash cow. But the thing is Floyd thinks just like arum. Floyd doesn't want the fight either. He came out of retirement attached his name to pacs and waited for him to finally lose so he can tell people see this guy was a hype. He has done this before. Floyd knew PAC was a threat if he lost to manny his stock would die because people got to see hi lose. So Floyd protects himself by fighting the least possible threat, knowing his boring style is not a draw and his undefeated record and people wanting to see the bad guy lose was his draw gimmick.

Waited until he finally lost? It was PAC that walked away from negotiations at the time, not Floyd. Why does Roach say differently?

It's both Floyd and arum who have made this fight never happen.

Arum works for Pac, not the other way around. So he is included in the mix as well!

Yea, because it's really ****** to believe that Bob Arum uses the potential for this fight to promote Pac fights (he brings this fight up non-stop when Manny has a fight coming up) and ****** to believe that he never wanted to make this fight at all (held "negotiations" in which he never even contact a Mayweather representative).

Because it's not an in-house fight perhaps? Maybe he believes Manny would get embarrassed by the best boxer Arum has seen "since Muhammad Ali."

Why would Arum negotiate with himself if he wanted to make the fight? When someone can explain that, we'll be getting somewhere.

Mr. Arum learned something from the Vietnam War and was able to apply it to the boxing world.

There are a fair amount of people, including myself, who believe that the Vietnam war was not meant to be "won." The war was meant to be sustained because war is big business for international bankers, arms dealers, etc. The war enhanced patriotic sentiment in some, and diminished it in others, but what was of utmost importance was that the money kept rolling in to the greedy rulers of this world.

I never realized how good Arum was at what he has done until talking to fanatical Pacquaio fans lately (which I've avoided doing most of my time at this forum). They really have no idea that Arum had no plans on putting Manny in with Floyd. If he did so, that would "end the war" because he himself believes Manny will lose and all the hype will be over. By not only avoiding the fight, but pretending to want it with bogus negotiations, etc., he could keep the money flowing in from Pacquaio fights and align Pacquaio with the greatest boxer of our generation. That gravy train was to be sustained for as long as possible. It did, however, hit a speed bump with Marquez.

How diabolical. But hey, if you're talking business, we have to admit it's genius. Why do you think Floyd doesn't want to deal with this scum. He knows he was wasting his time.
