Kell Brook is going to sell pay per views in the US?

I don't think Floyd goes head to head with Cotto-Canelo in May
I have thought about it. Floyd has 2 fights left he says and though Canelo is the "Future" he isnt there yet. He can build now on HBO and be established on both networks. But instead GBP wants to leave money on table by doing this. From a business standpoint it makes no sense. But hey im here and they are there so maybe they feel itll work. I think its unnecessary especially when canelo/cotto can sell on any date

Alvarez is big enough to call his shots like this. He makes enough of an impact to threaten any of the other top names and make them change dates around them or lose buys going against him.

He wouldn't beat out Mayweather, especially not Mayweather's last fight in September, but he'd dent him.

canelo doesnt need huge numbers to make a good profit, him and hbo make more money on ppv even if doesnt bring huge numbers instead of fighting on regular hbo...2 ppvs + 1 regular hbo fight per year sounds good...

Mayweather's making changes to his team, has no established promotional ties (w/out GBP) and no opponent.

Who's going to supply the promotion, the opponent, the undercard?

Hard to see how they're going to compete with Cotto-Canelo with an undercard with several other Mexican fighters on Cinco de Mayo...especially if the Mayweather opponent is a British fighter.

You know what.. I like Canelo Alvarez.

He is a gentleman and a scholar of the sport and if nothing else acts like a true champion. Like the ones of old.

I was really hard on him at one point, but he demanded Trout, and since has fought nothing but good fights. He does act like a champion, and deserves respect for it.

He completely turned my opinion on him around when he took the Lara fight.

Canelo won't like fighting in May after he shares a ring with the KING. Hope he bounces back for his September fight.
