They are however willing to not only pass up on a career high payday, but also give up their belt to avoid it.

If they go through with this, it will make them look terrible.
I don't disagree. I am as surprised as you they are passing up such a huge payday. The giving up the belt is ridiculous, especially when you have BHOP going out of his way to keep his belt.

Aside from Ishe Smith, the most significant opponents he fought are foreigners.

ok.he's fought them on cards here in the US, fights I have paid more attention to, I haven't watched as many Koborov fights. SO I was acknowledging my lack of knowledge was in part driving my opinion.

The irony is Korobov has fought in the USA a larger percent of the time at 100% to Jacobs taking two fights outside the U.S

          haha...damn

So you basically made an assumption of a fighter you know nothing about because.... he fought in America more... which he didn't?

You should know both fighter before you say one's better than the other, just a little advice

I agree with people that he's a better Am than a Pro...but I still like him.

Don't know how there fight would go... need to watch more jacobs as I've just been watching Korobov fights instead of Jacobs

I can watch all three of them: Quillin/Jacobs/Korobov and see some glaring things that make me say they are B level at best. None of them have that it factor which makes them stand out as anything special. All good solid pro's. All world class, but all a level below someone like GGG, at least from an eye inspection test. All three of them would provide good tests for each other.

I didn't know and That's why I pointed out I know more about Jacobs than Koborov and that it might be influencing my opinion. Geez.

You agreed with me Jacobs was slightly better so clearly I'm not totally wrong.

                      A couple thoughts

1.Jay-Z should just keep trolling Al Haymon and bid an absurd amount of money on the Wilder/Stiverne fight.

                      2. I hope Kid Choc holds a press conference where he throws his belt in the trash the way Rid**** Bowe did when he did not want to fight Lewis.

3.The interim belt that Jacobs has eventually leads to a GGG fight since he (GGG) holds the actual WBA title and not the interim. The Rubio vs GGG fight is for a shot at the mandatory WBC belt after the Cotto vs Canelo fight. Haymon has to be praying that Taylor somehow pulls off an upset against Soliman so he (Al Haymon) can have a fighter hold the IBF belt hostage to defend against a bunch of 50 and under ranked Europeans on Showtime. GGG seems to have put himself in a good place going into 2015. A lot of guys are not going to be able to run from him.
