It is out of Haymon's hands now. He has no say in this. Purse bids are done as a finalization of promotional and managerial agreement issues. Haymon is used to micromanaging every detail, but in this case he has no say and no strength. He can talk his fighter out of signing and making them lose their belt, or just accept the fact that this is a great opportunity for his fighter to make a career high payday. This stuff makes me wonder if he is looking out for his fighters best interests like a manager is supposed to do, or just looking out for his own best interests.

His history shows he looks out for fighters best interest. I guess those interests always line up with his. This seems to be the 1st time they don't.It is out of Haymon's hands now. If its out of his hands than maybe its GBP, but now Ive heard from Gomez and ODH, I want to hear from QUillin.
Imagine if his wife hears he isn't taking this payday? lol.Comment

Whoever is responsible, whether it is Quillin/Haymon/or Goldenboy, they need to get their act together. If it is Quillin, then I hope he signs or goes away. If it is either of the other 2, shame on them. His history shows he looks out for fighters best interest. I guess those interests always line up with his. This seems to be the 1st time they don't.

well he got the 2nd delay. maybe they make a "minor adjustment" like Korborov's side and the fight gets made.
I just don't see how GBP could refuse this hig a purse for their fighter. They and Haymon make more as well. SO this decision is mind boggling.
Guess we have to wait and see.Comment

Seems like a reasonable response to a reasonable request, I would love to know the purpose behind the extension. I don't believe for a second it's the baby thing.Comment
