Grants produces its very own Puncher's gloves (GGG uses them and Khan also used them in his last fight) and they are made from same horse skin material as Everlast and Reyes, Grants Puncher's gloves are actually pretty good.
Do these Grant punchers gloves have a commercial name?

... And what "horse skin"? Horse hair, maybe...

Its quite an easy answer. The glove issue ONLY came up when the custom glove was disapproved. If that didn't get caught by Mayweather's camp, we wouldn't be having this topic.
Some of you guys get too emotional like females..

He's correct, they do have a version where it's horse hair mixed with foam padding, puncher's glove. The maker speaks about it here.

Yes horse hair basically which are used in padding. Some fighters actually prefer them over Everlast and Reyes .

Don't think they have a commercial name, they're sold under same banner under same name and actually looks the same as orthopedic just little stiff from the front and the knuckle area, and are very good puncher's gloves.

He knocked down Berto very early in the fight kinda easily, then shut one of his eyes a round later, then shut another one of his eyes and knocked him down again. That's more than just mauling. Also, Berto is very strong. And yet, Guerrero was pushing him around like nothing, bullying him.

Khan shouldn't feel safe with Guerrero without random drug testing in place. Keep in mind, Guerrero doesn't give a **** to be dirty too. He intentionally tried to headbutt Aydin but missed. I can't imagine what he'd do to Khan. Guerrero is a wild card. No telling which version is going to show up.

So Mr. Grant (after playing down his competitor) is advertising the horsehair gloves he is making himself...
... Which brings us to the issue: Floyd's main problem, though, is the horse hair and not the brand.

When a guy who never was known for his power, suddenly gets pretty powerful, I always question that. I bet you questioned what Marquez did to Pacquiao right?

                I know I did.

I don't consider him a puncher. I'd feel pretty safe knowing he was in the ring with Khan. That's my litmus test for punchers.
He dropped him twice. Hurt him a few times.

I also think Shane chose his own gloves. He's worn those same gloves since.

He seemed to be making a genuine effort to be honest. And didn't seem like he was advertising his horse hair. He just brought up the fact that they make a horse hair model too, and that GGG and Hopkins uses it. But even with those he tries to make sure they are padded very well.

The issue seemed to be the padding itself, the way it was padded.

Fighters shouldn't get to decide what gloves their opponents wear. There shouldn't even be an option during the contract signing. Fighters should be allowed to wear whatever type they choose as long they are approved by the commission.
