pretty sure floyd would make a fuss about it too if he was told to change gloves hours before his fight. stop ignoring the big picture here. im sure u know people only made it a big deal since it was a last minute thing and floyd STILL continue to run his mouth saying maidana is easy work. u see thats the difference between floyd and those other great boxers.

Mayweather is the biggest name in boxing. The glove issue has been one of the hottest topics since the first fight and there's a rematch coming up where the issue has not gone away.

I'm sorry I didn't make a thread about what gloves Ray Robinson wore in his 4th fight against Jake LaMotta but I didn't think that would be so relevant at this particular moment in time.

The gloves are checked hours before the fight-hence that's why the problem was found and asked to be corrected hours before the fight. Of course, you know this, so the "big picture" point is a little silly.
